Portable Touch Screen 2-in-1 Solitaire

What fun!!! I started looking for it for my 88 yr old mom last Nov & it was out of stock everywhere! Her arthritis bothers her when she plays solitaire with cards. I couldn't find a large screen on any other product. I was so afraid it was going to be discontinued! Then I got an e-mail saying it is now available. Sold! She (& I !!) love it!!! I like the fact if you stop playing for a bit it will automatically turn off until you turn it back on and continues your game. I highly recommend this for the young and.. not so young! Easy screen to read & you can tilt the screen for your eyes. Worth every penny. Thank you very much! Prompt delivery, too!

This unit does nor come with instructions on how to use it to play. It explains what the keys do individually but does not give instructions on how to use the keys to make any normal solitaire move like transferring a row of cards to another row or to the appropriate suit stack..The screen is very difficult to read with the images superimposed on top of each other. This unit was a waste of time and money and the cause of deep frustration. I would have returned this unit in a minute however it was given as a gift. Compared to other quality items Amazon offers this one is at the bottom of the list. It could only be sold sight unseen through mail order.

Works like any solitaire game but without color its harder to recognize the symbols. I got this for my elder mother because it was easy on her hands but with failing sight as well, she just can't see whether she is moving a spade or a diamond. The immages are a little fuzzy. If they were sharper images it would help alot.

Product only lasted month and half, the keys on the front quit working there is no replace option, when I select return or replace. Also the title is miss-leading it is not a touch screen. although the person it was gotten for did have fun with it while it was working.It was gotten for an elderly family so it is not like the keys were abused.It was decently priced when I bought it, now it is near $28 more.... In my opinion not worth it based on what I have seen.

Easy and fun. Not small enough to take with you but good for at home when you have a few minutes and want to be amused. I enjoy playing solitaire but had to give it up because my cat started taking over the table every time I play. With this the cat leaves me alone and if I stop in the middle of a game I can pick up right where I left.

I was very impressed with the quality, the size of the unit and the response of the touch screen. Just like the previous reviewer, I too, bought this for my mother who is 91 years old. She likes to play solitaire the old fashioned way, with playing cards, sitting at a table but finds she tires quickly playing solitaire this way now at her age. This is a Christmas gift for her this year so she has not had the opportunity to try it yet but I am hoping she will love it. She will be able to sit back in her recliner to play this on her lap.

I purchased this as a gift for my mother who is 82 years old. She loves to play solitaire on their home computer, but it is not located in a main room of their home. She loves the fact that she can put this on her lap while sitting in front of the television and be able to play her solitaire game. I was reluctant to purchase for fear of quality, but I found it to be well made, and works as it stated. I am happy I bought it for her.

A total piece of garbage. I decided to order for my 87 year old mother despite the mixed reviews. I had to purchase a set of tools to open the battery compartment. While the device turned on it was impossible to operate so the game functioned, impossible to view the screen (not backlit - how can the elderly view if I can't), the buttons do not work and are equally illogical. Don't waste your money on this one - I am returning it.
