Seems to work, but could be much better.
I just spent the afternoon installing tile with this system, and I've got a few observations on the system. My project was the floor of a bathroom with a walk in shower and linear drain. I used 12x24 porcelain tiles. The tiles were very flat and very consistently sized.I was drawn to the fact that the system had a fairly low startup cost, used a single base in each corner, provided integrated spacers, and has minimal waste. Those things are all true, but there are a few downsides. The first problem is that positioning the spacers can be tricky. When you’re dry-fitting the tile, everything looks great. Unfortunately, once you have a little thinset stuck between the bottom of the tile and the backing plate it’s hard to get the spacers to engage. The raised spacing blocks just aren’t tall enough to get them easily engaged. Being so short also makes it hard to tell if the tile is fully butted up to the edge of the spacer. The second issue is with the screw-down caps. The cap and screw almost have to be installed to the base before you put them in place. The problem is that puts the cap in the way of positioning the tile. In most places this isn’t a major issue, but it can be quite tricky in a corner. I destroyed one screw trying to get the tile in place. If a screw comes loose from the base, it’s very challenging to get it put back into place without pulling everything up around it so that you can see the base. The third issue is that turning down the caps can shift the tiles around. In my case the tile had quite a bit of surface texture, so that may exaggerate the issue. I found that if I wasn’t careful to hold the tile in place while tightening the cap, the tiles would shift slightly. Not much, but a system like this is supposed to make it easier to achieve a perfect installation. The final issue, and perhaps the most critical, is that I’m not sure the system can provide enough force to pull the tiles back into plane. It’s possible that my thinset was missed mixed too thick, but in some places it just didn’t seem strong enough to pull the tiles even.Did the system work? Yes, I think it did help to some degree. I’ll see for sure once everything has dried and I can get back on the floor. Would I buy this system again? I doubt it. I think I’d choose a system that uses bases that extend above the tile and snap off. That would make it much easier to see that everything is properly positioned and tight. Will I use the product that I have left? Probably, but I’ll have to see the results before I make a final decision on that.

Never Again
I bought this system for my 12 x 24 porcelain tile shower job. It is expensive when you take into account you will need the 4 way, 3 way and 2 way fittings if you do a brick pattern or similar. The system looks ingenious and is hyped by a lot of videos on the net to make you think it's the cat's meow. I am a do it yourself-er perfectionist type who has done a few large tile jobs in the past, which came out awesome. After researching large tile installation and thinking this could only help me get the tile lippage right on I sunk about 200 bucks into this system. Big mistake. I spent a great amount of time getting my walls dead on straight and level before the tile install. I used high end Laticrete thin set designed for large format tile. FYI, the 4XLT thinset is great to work with.To my surprise the Italian porcelain tile was slightly warped with a 2 x 4 type of sway, fortunately with all 4 tile corners facing down. That made it physically impossible to get zero lippage on the tile with a brick pattern where the warped down tile ends meet the middle sway when layed down. I was still optimistic that this system would at least mitigate that issue as much as was possible.Using this system proved to be a big time negative for me. When you use the system in a 3 or 4 corner area you can't see if your tiles are all aligned at least close enough for adjustment because the red spindles are blocking your view and they need to be placed under the tile before you put the next tile in place. You may be thinking, as I did, no big deal because this spindle will pull them into alignment. In fact the spindle is too weak to make much of a difference when it's tightened whether the thinset is mixed a little sloppy or not. That was my experience throughout using this system. It will not make much of a difference adjusting tiles and you can't see what you're doing with the spindles in the way.The wall tile turned out horrible for me. The lippage is more than I have ever seen on any tile job I've done. It's depressing. The system is too weak to adjust the tiles enough to minimize lippage and with the spindles in your visual way you're fighting a losing battle. I layed down my floor tiles of the exact same 12 x 24 porcelain WITHOUT this system and they came out real nice...mainly because I could see what I was doing. A little piece of hardwood can tell you if you have lippage and a simple piece of straight 2 x 4 can help you level tile much better than this seemingly ingenious worthless system. This system has been the biggest mistake I made on any tile job I've ever done. Simple spacers and a few pieces of wood are all you need. I will never use any leveling system again.
