Bio Catolet 25 Litre (100% Recycled Paper)

Normally I buy this in the shops, but my supermarket stopped stocking it and my local B&M only did the smaller sizes and if they sold out it seemed to take them forever to buy. So I had to shop online.I have always liked this cat litter and for an eco-litter it's really good. Gentle on the cats' paws, absorbant and does help with some odour control.However, the pricing for a 25ltr is pretty high and since one of the reasons I liked this litter was the paper packaging I was not happy to receive it all wrapped in plastic. What is the point of buying eco if they are just to give you lots of plastic to throw away? These are the reasons I dropped stars.

This is a product that I purchase frequently from the supermarket, but due to the recent virus implications I couldn't purchase while shopping hence the online transaction. I would normally purchase a 12Ltr pack for £6 but could only find this product (25Ltr) for £25 …. do the maths, an extortionate increase in price, and appears to have been inflated even more, not sure why.Thankfully it is back on the supermarket shelves so probably wont purchase online again.However the product is excellent, eliminates odours well and fully recyclable so great for the environment too.

For me, the main thing is that the litter uses up old newspaper and other papers which are being recycled, and it is lightweight. Hooray! I am tired of hunking around bags of clay cat litter that weigh a ton and stick to the litter tray once used. This litter is quite expensive but it smells better, is easy to remove, and is LIGHTWEIGHT. What a brainy idea.

Excellent absorbent cat litter. No dust or gritty mess. Yes the cat does scatter it around a bit but it is so much easier to sweep up or hoover the odd bits that fly out of the tray. Odour s do not seem to be a problem. My cat is now 14 years old and I have probably tried every litter on the market and I definitely find this one the best.

I have tried grit, corn and wood litter but this paper is amazing. It leaves no Mark's or grease in the tray. It is flushable too. Easy peasy. It doesnt clump but my cats love burying their treasure in it! Make sure you're not too scrimpy on the amount you use. Thank you.

5 stars the best cat litter i have ever used,fantastic product not to heavy not to messy and get rid of the ammonia smell that uthers leave behind.
