Does anyone have a picture of what the background looks like with the light shining through?

I don't have a picture but am using it as a light panel in my bathroom over the sink and it transmits light well and is very attractive.

Could you use this as an actual window by putting a casing around it?

Personally, I would think it would depend on your weather and the actual materials in the piece. But, if all else fails, you could certainly place it in the window securely with brackets, screws, etc. I placed mine directly on the window frame and it works well. This is a beautiful piece.

Could you make this 33inches wide and 11inches high?

Is it possible to join more than one piecd together with soldier, or something? What is the material holding it together? Thanks.

It is solder that holds the glass pieces together. But around the edges are metal frames so if you would do so, you will need to remove the metal frames, then solder them together. Unfortunately we do not do custom works. I hope that helps. Thank you.
