Eh...
Not crazy about it, but it works. This product is actually three separate pieces. One is the arm band. The second is the holder/case for the Zune, which also has a little plastic ring on the back that snaps into the last piece. This final piece is a clip - one side is an alligator-style clip that you slide over the armband, and the other side is a spring-loaded retainer that accepts the ring on the back of the holder/case.While it does keep the Zune on your arm, it actually protrudes about an inch off, which for me makes it feel like it's kind've flopping around while I swing my arm (i.e. when running). I would prefer it to be right up against my arm and stay in place. Also, there's not anything to specifically deal with your extra headphone/earbud cord, so I just wrap it around the middle of the clip. Sometimes it will either loosen up during my workout, and I'm left with extra dangling cord flipping around my shoulder, or it'll accidentally get hung up on some part of the clip, and I'll end up jerking my earbuds out. There didn't seem to be many other armband options for the Zune HD out there, but in my opinion this isn't much better than just putting it in your pocket.

Simple product does what it should
Adjustable armband, detachable belt clip, and snug, durable case. I found that once you get the Zune HD in, you massage the case around it to get the screen to pull taught against the Zune, then the touch screen works fine. I sometimes have problems mashing the side buttons, but no real issues with the touch screen. It is hard to get out, but not frustratingly so - as one user commented, you can slide a credit care between the Zune and the screen to get it to stop sticking then it pops right out.Oh, if you think it doesn't have a hole for your headphones (saw it mentioned on a couple of posts), it means you put it in upside down. The velcro closure leaves enough room for the headphone jack and simply open the flap to charge/sync. I really have no need to remove it from the case.

Tap don't slide
First off, just got it today and used it for running an extremely long distance across the Sahara while simultaneously bench pressing a newborn calf. Hardly any slippage and was comfortable and did not chafe while I fought off the ravenous lions that were after said calf. The Zune HD fit snugly and contrary to popular belief, it is not at all difficult to get out. All you need to do is push down from the top and then pull the zune out from the bottom. It's very similar to skinning a wolverine. The only (minor) problem is that the plastic covering does its job too well(Just like Old Spice, but without the problem). While it prevents scratches and quite possibly gouges from fangs, it also prevents the touchscreen capabilities while sliding your finger across it.My ingenious solution: Press the side button on the Zune that brings up the volume/pause/next track icons and tap the screen instead of sliding. This circumvents the screen lock sliding thing which would have prevented you from doing anything had you tried to "slide" while your Zune HD is in the case. Now if you'll all excuse me, I need to go ride a horse. Backwards.

Excellent Product
I bought this armband/case for my 32gb Microsoft HD Zune Platinum Edition, & I absolutely love it. It fit's well around my arm, of medium build. Two things other ppl have made comments on, that concerned me: The plastic is thick & stiff, but IMO, that's a good thing. True, you have to press to slide, & tap the touch screen a little harder than normal, but it is still functional, & have no problems going through the screen, even with my screen slide to lock, still activated. Another comment, is the Zune is "impossible" to remove once placed in the case. I haven't experienced that. Maybe after running several miles, & the case/player sweats, you may have a problem with that, but I haven't tested it on long runs. I've only worn it so far, while working around the yard, & lifting weights. Yes it does fit snug, from side to side, top to bottom, but again, that's a good thing IMO. I just push mine from the top, then slide it out the bottom at the same time, with no problem. I highly recommend this product.

Good but don't like the clear plastic front.
I wish there was a rubberized armband for the Zune HD, like the Agent18 armband for the smaller older Zunes. Those were great, because they incorporated a belt clip and armband into one thing, and was rubber protected with an opening for the display. This armband is good, but the plastic clear front is limiting when trying to use the Zune HD. I looked to see if you could remove the front, but if you would, the Zune would fall out. The armband also is not very long, so I don't think it will fit weight lifters with big arms.

It works
Overall for the price it is a good value.I took a chance after reading a review on Amazon which said that it broke after 2 days. Well the 'clip' on the back of the case broke, but luckily I was able to use the armband & loop it through the case. This may have been how it was designed... but it wasn't clear from what I saw. But it works very well now & is really sturdy which is great for jogging.

Nothing special
It does what it is designed to do. The belt clip broke the first week. The only other compliant is that the strap does not have Velcro all of the way and the end piece does not have Velcro on it. So that when you are moving your arms the tab rubs against you. I just tucked everything under my shirt sleeve but then I have to roll it up to change my play list. Small inconveniences though.

Meh.....
Originally bought this case because of the built in screen protector, and the other features were nice. However, within a week, the belt clip attachment broke and could not be removed. I ended up having to break it off. Very cheap. I would not recommend using this case full time. The plastic screen protector drastically reduces the Zune HD's response to touch and dust and other particles very easily get under the protector and scratch the screen. On the plus side, the armband attachment works great! After having part of the case stop functioning in less than a week, I can't recommend this device too much unless one doesn't care for the belt clip attachment.
