A: No, mine says made in China. It is not made in Japan.

**Q: Is this easy to squeeze? I'm concerned about finger/hand fatigue from prolonged use.**
A: Honestly, I can and can't answer that question. Not because I don't want to, so I felt I had to explain. It's because it was a gift for my dad, but he said he likes it, and I've seen him use it on fish. I did squeeze it once, and its not hard like it looks like it would be. It's really nice and thick (heavy duty) like the picture, but easy to squeeze. I think your hand should be fine.

**Q: What is the tip width (not the pkg)?**
A: Tip is wide, approximately 10mm
Makes removing pin bones in fish MUCH easier....

**Q: Will it Pull out chin hair?**
A: The tip might be sharp enough to do it.
