Protector Band for Dogs

First time user here. I have 3 large dogs who love to be outside in the grass, fields, wood and barn. I needed a less expensive alternative to other flea meds. I put these on in June and havent seen one flea or tick on any of them. Hoping, I dont jinx myself by bragging about them but I will buy again.

I always used Scalibor collars for my labs. Ticks were more of a problem than fleas. But after a visit from family dogs, I found fleas a problem. Vet suggested that Seresto was better for fleas. I got the new collars, and they seemed to work, but suddenly my older girl was having seizures! I removed the collar, and the seizures went away. Waited three days, and put the Seresto back on and the seizures were back. So I'm back to Scalibor. But the name has changed, and the same medication is now in the Activyl collars. With some trepidation, I put these collars on my two girls, and NO SEIZURES. If they work as well with ticks as the old Scalibor, I will be one very happy camper.

The drops worked really well so I figured the collars would work just as well but I must say I’m very disappointed with this product. My dogs are over run with fleas even though they’ve had these collars on. Complete waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend this product

Ticks are terrible in west KY. I bought these for my dogs after seresto went up again at my local vets office. They have had these on for two months. No fleas or ticks. Very pleased with my purchase and will continue to use. Happy I don’t have to pay more for a larger dog as well. Definitely worth a try!

I used to buy the topical but I haven't been able to find it at an affordable price so I got these. Peak flea killing time says 3 weeks but at 5 weeks now I had to go to the vet and buy perscription flea medicine cause these collars weren't working.

This worked well for one of our greyhounds. She is still wearing it. The other had a very odd neurological reaction. He had a strange head tilt and acted like he was trying to scratch his belly constantly with his back leg. Within an hour of taking it off, he was back to normal. His went into the garbage.

I had never used a frea collar before, but since I couldn’t get the Activyl topical I had used last year, I tried it.No fleas seen, and no irritation noticed.

Tried this because of a recommendation and the collar was effective for approximately 1 month. After that it seemed to lose its effectiveness. Not really worth the money, get flea pills instead.
