This is the best product ever. No more bending tape measures while trying to measure something and no more having to read the tape measure. This does it all. Easy to operate.

An excellent tool making measurement faster and more accurate.. Especially helpful if you are working alone on a project. I was able to capture what seemed to be an accurate distance measure to a friend's garage door down and across the street. About 1/2 block away and in the later afternoon.

opened box, added batteries, got a 500 hardware error. the product does not work. took out batteries and replaced with new ones, power cycled. Nothing worked. If I can get it to work then I'll change my rating.EDIT: I have been contacted by customer service (below), and they are sending me a replacement and should be here in around a week. I have raised from 1 star to 2 stars because of good and prompt customer service. If the replacement gets here and works as expected I will update this again with an appropriate and fair review. I've also purchased a DT100 Dtape laser measurer, but it doesn't have the form factor, hi-viz color, or leveling features I desire, so a working Lomvum will be very nice.EDIT 2: I have received the replacement. It works. It works in the daylight, in bright sun, though it has difficulty. One star removed ONLY because they're using a RED laser light, which limits usability in the daylight. A more powerful green laser would do what I need; I purchased this for surveying my property, but this makes it difficult and therefore I cannot do this except perhaps at night.

Very easy to use. I'm impressed with the accuracy. It arrived quickly and packed well. Excellent seller.

I dropped it once and it broke. Laser would not stay on long enough to measure. Display read nonsense measurement of thousands of inches. Buttons would not work.Before it broke, I wished I could set accuracy to 1/8 inch instead of 1/16. Too precision for my use, and converting fractions in my head is risky.

This laser measure does exactly as it's supposed to and is very accurate. It feels durable and you can't beat the price.

I use this for rough estimates and it is more than adequate for that. I like the square footage feature. I wish it stayed on the unit (meter vs feet vs inches) when you turn it off and turn in on, but I am getting used to changing it every time. I wouldn't trust it for finish carpentry detailed work, but it is good enough for me.
