Make sure the size you choose ends with a "5", not a "0".
Had to send back as the 65cm version of this stool was too tall for either me or my husband to comfortably sit on. He is 6ft and I'm 5ft 4". The 55cm comfort stool was perfect for both of us and very comfortable. However, the 55cm version gets a full 5 out of 5. You can fit 2 in a rucksack and it still feels like you aren't carrying anything. Just be aware that all the negative reviews on here seem to be for the basic model of the Walkstool. They are cheaper and made in China rather than Sweden. The basic models are 50cm or 60cm. The comfort models (or Amazon have misspelt and put confort) are available in 45cm, 55cm, 65cm, and 75cm. These are the one to buy.

Let Down by Manufacturing Defects
I purchased a 65cm Walkstool and noticed shortly after receiving it NEW that the securing strap sewing wasn't very good and the velcro hadn't been sewn on strait so one corner protrudes over the edge of the strap. For the price I found this disappointing and contacted Walkstool with photo's to be informed by the owner that he doesn't sell to Amazon and my stool must used and this issue must be a result of poor repairs. Unfortunately I'm unable to return it to Amazon for a refund due to other commitments preventing me trying to access a Post Office and I purchased it to use at Carfest soon so I'll have to live with the defects and hope they don't get worse. The rest of the stool looks good quality it's a shame it's let down by the strap and the owners reluctance to own up to the fact it's happened and the need to review Quality Control. It's a lot to spend on a stool so it's not unreasonable to expect it to be made to an acceptable standard. My wife also wants a portable stool I'm looking at other brands due to the Walkstool owner failing to accept responsibility for these production defects on a NEW stool....

Good to get a stool with varying heights.
This is a great product available in a number of sizes. Being on the tall side, I needed the 75cm high model and am happy with the stool which has come in very handy when i am out and about and I am able to sit comfortably in venues where I struggled before because the seats were too low. Only minus point is that the seat pad does arch downwards which can reduce your sitting height, but I had allowed for this in the height of seat purchased. Like most portable seats, these seats are not designed to be used for lengthy periods - which is fine for me as I need to stand up every now and then to prevent the base of my spine "locking" - usually about every 15/20 mins or so.

Cheaper stools are available, but none as compfy as the WalkStool
After owning some cheaper alternatives, I thought I'd invest in the walkstool after after reading some positive reviews.Yes, the Walkstool seems pricey, but what you get is a well constructed, durable, compfy stool that justifies the price - and it includes a handy carry bag. With the fold up legs it's a great height (varying heights in the range available) and the seated area appears larger than previous ones I've tried which makes for easier sitting / perching and it's stable & compfy if seated for long periods.I've previously spent between £5 to £15 on fold-up stools, but have found the feet have snapped, cracked and fallen off, Or the seat area is thin, uncompfy or worse you feel the leg poles poking in your bum, or be compact other stools have been too low to the ground.I've used this stool to sit on and bbq, watch sport in a field, and even grabbed it out the back the car when there were no chairs left in a pub garden :-)

Be wary of the sizing maybe not suitable for the fu
Ideal for someone tall and slim. There should be a better way to gauge the size when buying eg. Suitable for 5'8" to 6' or for 6' to 6'4" as it was a bit of guess work. Ended up with something that was for someone 6'4" or above. Solution would be if you had telescopic legs with multiple settings then it could be adjusted for individual needs. Also not comfortable for those with a bigger a!! posterior, all you can feel are the 3 poles sticking into your backside. It is light and very strong and feels stable. But comfort and adjustability need looked at.

Walkstool Comfort 65
These are very expensive compared with the £2.50 El-Cheapo mini stools you get from camping shops, but largely speaking you get what you pay for. The Walkstool is made in Sweden and is very good quality. This stool extends to nearly double its storage length which gives a much more comfortable sitting height. Similarly, the large area of seat material also greatly improves comfort. Although I rated it 5-stars, it is not perfect. If you extend the legs too quickly, you can overcome the end-stop and the leg detaches. This is a minor inconvenience as the legs are designed to be removable so they can be replaced if need be. Spare legs are available - at least from the manufacturers. The only worrying aspect is that the instructions warn about uneven loading of the legs on uneven ground, which could cause a leg to bend (and therefore need replacing). I do not know how easy it is to suffer this mishap as I have always been careful in this respect. The loads that this stool can take (250kg, if I remember correctly) is vastly better than the El-Cheapo stools mentioned earlier, one of which suffered a catastophic failure of the seat material, neatly dumping me backwards onto the ground. This incident is what led me to investigate better stools, and so far I have not regretted buying a Walkstool.

A very handy stool when out and about
Very easy to carry and the pack have a string so it is possible to carry it like a back pack. You can even carry it in your belt.Sturdy stool and the comfort, well, it is OK, but a little bit of pain using it the first time. But this will be like having used your bike a couple of times. Your behind will get usedAnd I trust the chair, using a "CHEEPO" and I'm always afraid the stool will break

Great for supporting my ample backside and very easy to carry.
I am 5' 7" and this was a little too tall for me but managed to get it swapped elsewhere for a slightly smaller one but with same weight bearing capacity.Small and easy to carry yet full height when in use and solid as a rock under my more than ample backside.Expensive but you get what you pay for.
