The length of the skirt itself is great but this sash/top part is extremely long! I’m not even sure where else I’m suppose to wrap it! I wrapped it around my waist 4 times in addition to over my beast, twice criss cross around my back then tied in the front! I initially thought it came up top like the advertised picture but you must wrap it that way; I tried that as well and the sash still almost touched the floor! I’m a size 14 so I ordered the XL-3X; even a 3X person would have way too much sash than anyone knows what to do with. The pattern is beautiful and material is really really good! I should’ve gone down a size but would probably run the risk of it not being long enough for my 5”9 frame

I'm 5'4, 200lbs, and very VERY busty I got the S-L and it fits perfectly, not too long but it does drag the ground a little without heels. The sash is a good length and it's very versatile, I just hope it doesn't bleed or shrink when washed.

Wore this dress to an African Ball! Lots of compliments! I ordered xl-3x which was perfect room in the waist. My regular dress size is a 14.

I have absolutely no complaints. Not one! Do yourself a favor and buy this. Like, now!I’m 5’5” and about 155 lbs. I wear sizes 8 and 10, usually. I ordered the small and it fits perfectly. This will definitely fit someone significantly larger or smaller than me as inside of the back waistband fabric, there is very stretchy elastic.Some other reviewers mentioned not having the side split in their skirts. It’s there; you just have to unzip it. I think it’s really cool that the skirt can be worn with or without the split. I mean, you gotta love having options.For some reason, I’m not seeing the option to add a photo. Annoying, because that’s my main motivation for writing this review. When deciding whether or not to purchase, I wished there were more customer photos. If the option reappears, I’ll add one.

I was looking forward to wearing this to a birthday party. The dress came as the African print black dress instead of the white dress with the colorful balloons. I tripled checked the order and placed it in my cart... The right dress showed on the order. Once I got it out my mailbox I was just disappointed as I really wanted the one I order. Probably will not order the one I want since this one came.... I may wear it. But I'm seriously considering returning it. I'm not happy !!!

Some have commented that the sash is too long. Not For Me! I wrap it a couple of times to secure the side halter effect and wrap my torso a little higher. It's quality fabric although I can't speak to how it washes since I've not laundered it yet. My dress was absent the pictured side slit and I'm happy about that. I'm wearing it to Family gatherings, Reunions, anniversaries, even to Church with a short sweater. I like the wraps that look like scarfs with sleeves to cover my arms and upper chest. The dress design is so pretty, I love the way it shows. And it's comfortable. Easy to wear. Generous skirt. Everyone says I look very Regal when wearing it.

Loved everything about this dress. Wore it on vacation & got tons of compliments. I didn't think it came with the split but it's actually zipped into the dress.

The colors were bright Afrocentric
