Q: What does lte mean and what is the difference between this one and the wi fi one?

LTE is when you can put a SIM card into it and use Cellular Data and make phone calls, text. The WiFi only tablet does not have this feature.

Yes I use it in the caravan rather than campsite wi-fi coz its better and cheaper .

Only the Lite version has sim facilities, if you aren't going to put a sim in then there is no point in spending that extra money on the lite version?? Just buy the WiFi one. If you want the sim option then buy the Lite one, either one you can use as a tablet on the net. Look on the Lite as just a really big Samsung galaxy phone. What you can do on your phone you can do with the Lite.
