It's a well made fine & solid safe for the house or for use in other areas.I've found that if you toggle with the handle the alarm doesn't go off, with mine you have to turn the handle left then right four times for the alarm to sound (I say left first as the vast majority of people will automatically turn or push depending on what their main hand used is left, that's just built into our brains!?!?) so I turn it left then right a couple of times so if it ever does have an attempted opening the alarm will sound quickly & it's not a soft low alarm it'd easily wake up say a three bedroom house if it was in anyone of those three bedrooms.It's simple enough to set up with easy to follow instructions & it'll do the job of holding money in it. I've become very wary of internet banking & extremely wary of the increased use of A.I so I want a lifeline of cash for when these things go to pot! (& A.I will).The screws provided are worthy of the job but who's really going to bolt this to the floor which would be quite difficult & extremely annoying to do, maybe to a section of a wardrobe if it's made out of solid wood & not ply as what thief is going to even attempt to move a solid large wardrobe that's really really heavy with the small safe bolted on to it with its alarm going off?! No one! Absolutely No One! Plus you can use clothes with a wardrobe to help keep it hidden.I got the smaller sized safe & I've provided a couple of photos just to see it's size in relation to certain everyday objects like on photo #2: There's an average TV remote with a mobile phone for height & length ideas & there's full headphones & its keys on top for depth just to give potential buyers an idea of it's size, there's no shelf with this one but for storing ££££ it'll be absolutely fine & it'd be fine for jewellery & other small valuable items like the 'Pink Panther'.

Easy to install and set up. I am very pleased as the price was also reasonable

OK for price, OK for holding passport and say a couple of thousand pounds. If your planning to hold more than £10k then get a better one. Is a good everyday use safe. On delivery package it says security safe which is good advertisement for burglars. Buy it from somewhere else or from in store.I intend to keep money in this safe for domestic use, say freinds and family or freinds of freinds come around, keep passports and maybe £5k. I don't intend this as protection from burglars. Burglar will probably open it in few minutes.

Like the sturdiness for the price. Setup was OK overall, with one glitch that could be avoided with fuller guidance: It shows you need to press a tiny button under the battery compartment lid before setting the code. It does not say "Do not refit the cover until the code is set." If it did, I would have set up the code successfully first time, instead of fourth time!

Great little buy. Got the small version but have to say it's perfect for storing cash and any personal documents etc plenty of space.Will admit the setting up procedure for the "tamper alarm" took a few attempts to get it to work. You get two bolts which are half decent I guess. As long as it's bolted down or screwed in to something it's all good. Played around with the alarm to see what could set it off, definitely worth the extra £20 when comparing with the non alarmed version!

After having this installed over 2 years ago I only just got around to using it.I hadn't even set a code on the safe and accidentally the door closed with everything inside!!!!The manual and override key was inside without any access because I hadn't set the PIN code yet!!So without breaking it open the safe is now no use for purpose and I didn't even get a chance to use it!There is should be a bigger label stating to avoid this happening!!!Called the customer service team and they advised there is nothing can be done, as I hadn't even set the code yet and do not provide spare keys for safesNot happy..

Tough safe, small yet sufficient. Clear instructions.

Works great storing minor important things like passport, credit cards and jewellery. Get the one with the alarm function, which will set of an alarm if tampered with.
