Nice bowl
Nice bowl that seems to be constructed well. I put a hard puck of soap in it with room to spare. The lid fits loosely and allowed the soap to dry properly. I have other bowls and mugs but the lid really works out nicely.

It's an okay shave bowl
This would be better if it were a little bigger and it doesn't really retain heat as well as the "Three-Walls" claim but that shouldn't matter that much. I have noticed that the stainless steel has picked up a few rust spots on the lid so that definitely knocks it down to 4 stars. It's hard to beat at this price point, though I think I prefer something with a handle so it's easier to grip with wet hands.

Fits 4.4 oz shaving pucks with room to spare
Perfect size for the slightly larger 4.4 shaving soap puck. The picture is with Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap refill puck. It's a double walled bowl so it has a little bit of heft to it and along with the lid it'll hold a little heat if you bloom your puck. I like the wall height doesn't really bang on my brush too much but it's not so short that I get splash. It's not super heavy like ceramic bowls but once you put soap in it it feels formidable. I like that I can bang it around or if I drop it it won't break or crack the tile on the floor. I replaced a very nice Viking shave bowl with this only because I wanted to get a lid I'm happy with this replacement. One last note is it is kind of a brushed stainless so it does have a little bit of texture which helps foaming.

Well-made soap dish
Feels well-made, and it's HUGE. This thing holds a lot of soap, so you can bloom your own puck into it and keep it moist for quick lather. Stainless steel won't crack or warp and cleans up nicely as well.

Quality, Good Size & Real SS
If you like to make alot of lather per shave session, this is perfect. But Wait, There's More!On clean-up, after rinsing/drying out this bowl, the tub of ToOBS stows perfectly inside. Spiffs the counter-top, too.If you melt or press a puck into the bottom of the bowl, the lid can carefully be used to lather up a smaller amount of cream. Lathering in the lid is not really recommend if you're a slob or dolt as the lid edge will cut hairs off your brush over time. In a pinch and with patience it will work just fine. Otherwise, there is ample room to make loads of lather in the main bowl even with a puck in the bottom.Your method of creating shaving lather may differ. Try them all.
