Driving 3 flat screen monitors from a central security NVR. My longest CAT 6 cable pull was about 110 feet and the video quality is great. It is on 24/7 so I hope it holds up over the long hall and I will edit the review if I encounter any performance issues. Review: Works great, another great OREI product - This was purchased for my church. We use this to send video announcements to remote tvs in the lobby of the church. Easy to install and setup. If you are using self terminated LAN cables, they must be built correctly. These units use POE and a poorly terminated LAN cable will cause the remote unit not to work. No power connections are needed at the remote side. Our LAN runs are between 75’ and 100’. Picture quality is very good. Make sure the transmitter unit has good ventilation. I had it in a rack on top of another unit and I think it was over heating. I moved the transmitter unit and that solved the problem of glitches on the TV. Would definitely recommend this product as a good HDMI extender. OREI makes a lot of good products and their instructional videos are great. ## Features - Distribute 1 HDMI Source to 4 HDMI displays over Cat6 network cable simultaneously, 1 in 4 out splitter receivers with power over cable feature and 4K@30Hz upto 165 ft - no adapter needed to power the receivers. - HDMI Transmitter is equipped with 4 port Cat6 output. Have not tried mix resolution displays yet **Q: Will it work with a projector TV?** A: Yes. The source or destination is almost irrelevant. If the source emits signal via hdmi and the destination receives signal via hdmi, this splitter will work. I’ve used dozens of them in different variations and Orei is one of the best brands I’ve found. **Q: How long of an hdmi cable can each individual receiver support?** A: up to 15 feet unless you use fiber optic active HDMI cable then up to 50 feet. **Q: Installed the 1x4 setup last winter for Super Bowl in a bar setting that has been using coax cat 6 baluns. We couldn’t get audio to work in our qsys** A: Please try setting the EDID dip switch setting on the transmitter to down, down, up, up. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good HDMI distribution solution. *by Q***N on July 28, 2026* Working great so far.
