Do you have to empty the water when you store it?

Hello, Richard, I found this in the instructions for the unit: When quitting work for a short time, you can leave the water inside and lock the clamps at each end of the tube and carefully coil the tube. 2. When the job is completed, or for longer storage, drain the water from the long end of the tube to prevent corrosion of the ElectraLevel™ electronics. Store the ElectraLevel™ with clamps open in a dry place. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Richard H.

Works great for cabinets

Easy to set up, no issues hearing the beep. I'm going to try longer tubing for my next project (fencing). Does what it's supposed to do and is way better than a plain water level.

not what i ordered.

I needed to level over 40ft so I ordered wl50 but instead for some reason I got the wl25 which wasn't even an option when I ordered and the picture and description both show the 50. Now I have to buy extra tubing to do what I need. I know the tube is cheap but that's not the point. Looks like I'm going back to only ordering from prime.

Very handy tool.

I have used this level for laying out decks and small foundations. It is very handy, particularly if you are working alone. The audible alert feature is perfect for working around corners or in the twilight when you can't see the water level at the other end of the tubing. Many of the people that I have worked with have never seen or used a water level. They are amazed at the simplicity and accuracy of the unit. I wish that I got a commission on sales of these things.

Worked very nicely, once I figured out when to have the ends pinched off and when to open them. The water level allowed me to put up some beams by myself. Using a traditional bubble-based level for what I did would have required two people.

Deception!

The advertising is deceptive. A WL50 is only 25 ft., the same as the 25-foot unit, only higher priced. Watch out!!!! Bruce

Fast and easy to use.

We are currently building our new house and getting the footers level has been so easy with this water level. I wish I had had one on the cottage build a few years back. It has been a real time saver and so easy to use.
