Worth the investment.
First of all, install is easy with instructions and video supplied by the company. This is a great RO system and works perfect for us as we are on a well with iron in the water. Perfect Water filtration tastes great. We have an expensive counter top water filtration that we no longer need to use because of this RO system. Flow rate is good. A lot depends on the pressure we have in our well pressure tank but that isnât Perfect Waterâs fault.I would highly recommend this product to anyone on a well that likes good tasting, clean drinking water. We used to buy tons of bottled water to drink and take in the go. Now that we have this system we have cut that cost out completely filling our own reusable bottles. We have more than made our money back on initial investment.

There is a reason they named their company 'The Perfect Water'... because it's what they do.
After significant research in my quest for pure, safe water and clear ice, the data and reviews on the Home Master TMHP system made my final purchase decision easy. A month after installation Iâm completely satisfied and thrilled with the performance of this system.I previously had an older GE system with the typical membrane and canister style filters. Every 6 months âpainfulâ filter changes and poor performance drove me to find a better solution. My first path was to go with a Pelican combination whole house filter and salt free water softener. My plumber and others said whole house filter was the way to go for pure water and clear ice, not so much. Even Pelican suggested RO was not needed with the whole house filter. While Iâm pleased with the Pelican system, the water is indeed soft and clean throughout my home, my faucets donât accumulate scale and no more itching skin from the massive amount of chlorine they put in the hard water here in Arizona. However, it is not the solution for pure drinking water and clear ice.Installation of the Home Master system was easy. If youâre somewhat handy, Perfect Waterâs installation instructions and videos provide all you need to complete the project yourself. The color coded tubing takes the guesswork out of connecting the tubing in the system, genius when you compare that to other systems with all white tubing. All connections are easy to use âpush-to-connectâ fittings, the installation instructions reiterate often to insure you push the tubing firmly into the fittings and then pull the tubing to insure connection. If you do this properly there will be no leaks.Performance, simply superb! When you consider my source (feed) water comes in at ~430 ppm and exits the Home Master system at ~25 ppm, the numbers donât lie. However, check out my attached images and you will see that pictures tell the rest of the story. I can tell you the water tastes amazing, as well as my coffee and iced tea, however seeing the picture of the Home Master produced ice beside the pre-RO ice will also convince you why the Home Master system should be your choice. The facts on âclear iceââŚ.While my particular clear ice results are truly dramatic, you need to know that pure water alone does not produce truly clear ice. Cloudy ice results from 2 things, impure water and how the ice is produced. Typical icemakers in refrigerators produce ice by freezing the water from the outside, in. Through this process there will always be trapped gasses pushed to the center of the cube. For perfectly âclearâ ice you need pure water and a âclearâ ice maker. These machines freeze the water in layers freezing water from the inside, out. The result is perfectly clear, harder ice that lasts longer and makes your drinks taste amazing. These are the ice machines most restaurants use. I have one on my list, maybe one day, they are expensive.Another major selling point for me on the Home Master was the fact that you only change the filters annually and according to what I see in my system and what Iâve read, it will be easy.I also took maintenance of the system one step further by installing HM Digitalâs TRM-1 Triple TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) monitor. Installation of the TRM-1 was easy, turn off the feed water supply valve and drain the storage tank to eliminate system pressure (I also unplugged the UV filter for safety). Buy a plastic tubing cutting tool (about $10.00) to insure straight tube edges for the fittings. Insert the probe tees inline where you desire to monitor TDS, it should be feed water (1/4â orange tube), post membrane (1/4â black tube) and final product water 3/8â blue tube). I also called Perfect Water and asked where I should connect the 3 monitors, their customer service department is awesome, told me how to do it and sent me a diagram. As always insure proper tubing connection in the fittings and turn your feed supply on to refill your tank and resume operation. By monitoring post membrane you can also calculate your membrane rejection rate, mine is currently operating at 97%, just as Perfect Water states in the product description (up to 98%). Online research says membranes should be replaced when rejection rate falls below 75% to 80%.This triple monitor tells me my TDS in the feed water, post membrane and post Artesian filter for the final product water. Just as the Perfect Water folks describe in FAQâs, the post membrane water PPM in my system is about ~15 ppm and then post Artesian product water is ~25 ppm. They add minerals back to the water which results in higher ppm, however this also produces GREAT tasting water. Ideal drinking water falls in the 1-50 ppm range and is achieved from reverse osmosis, microfiltration, etc. While Perfect Water recommends annual filter changes the monitor also allows me to see when filter performance deteriorates, so maybe I change them sooner or maybe they last a little longer? Quick note on the HM Digital monitor; if you search it online you will find it comes with either 1/4â or 3/8â inline tees. The Home Master system has both 1/4â and 3/8â tubing so you will need to order the monitor with 2-1/4â tees and 1-3/8â tee. The probes that connect to the tees are all 1/4â. The fine folks at HM Digital solved that issue for me.So, what are you waiting for? Click that order button and you also will be writing a 5 star review on the amazing Home Master TMHP.Update 8-30-17: Six weeks after installation the system is humming along flawlessly producing amazing, great tasting water and ice. May I also compliment the support department at The Perfect Water. I called in and emailed with questions on my system performance and I was expertly guided through some troubleshooting which quickly resolved my initial concern. Not only does The Perfect Water manufacture superb RO systems, they back up this 5 star product with 6 star customer service! Many thanks to Will, Matthew and Tim, your professionalism and acute attention to superb customer service are a great credit to your product and your company!

Great Tasting Clean Water without Plastic Bottles
4/4/25 Update. Over one year since we've installed our system. Have had zero problems and great tasting water. Repressurized the tank and replaced the filters on the one year installation anniversary. The process was straightforward and I had no difficulties. Purchased the associated filter replacement kit and everything fit and worked properly right out of the box. Still highly recommend this product!Original review:Everything was pre-assembled, which made installation much simpler. Only have to hook up external connections and prime the system. Instructions were easy to follow. The only issue I had (taking ease of installation to 3-stars) was that the system I received shipped with a saddle valve connection to the drain line for drainage. As far as I can tell, it is illegal to use these in the US since it is not a secure drain connection. So I independently ordered a drain-line adapter to my dishwasher drain line. Works perfectly, no leaks. Thank goodness for Amazon same-day delivery. I did not contact tech support on this issue so I have no personal experience with using them.I initially connected my icemaker to the system, however, I found that the icemaker draws too much water for the RO system and it can't keep up. After a few days we started running out of water and the reserve tank was constantly empty. Our icemaker is an undercabinet icemaker, so it's water needs are much higher than a normal refrigerator would be. So I've moved my icemaker to a separate high-flow filter system and that solved the problem.Installation is clean and everything is accessible for future maintenance. Takes a lot of space under the sink, but we moved cleaning items and dishwasher tabs to a different cabinet. I recommend labeling the filters with date of installation so you know when to service them in the future.Overall, the end product is great! Water tastes fantastic and so much better than bottled water. We can taste the difference and its especially noticeable in our coffee maker.
