The best way is to avoid joiners on a curve as there are no set dimension for curves, unless you are using snap track. But If you need a joiner in a curve the best way is to join the rails with a joiner and use two pairs of needle nose plyers , and join the rails bend the rails . But do not kink the rails .Get the radius you want and then solder the rails in a nice bond.
