It's a strong knike and nice appearance. I bought this knife formy collection.

I'm amazed as to how well this takes an edge and holds it. I'm a little rough on the tools and I have no complaints about the quality or durability with this knife.I would expect a knife of this quality to have cost more than this.

wanted a more compact knife for the wife. this fit the bill.will need to roughen up the scale s, as they are very smooth. might be an issue when they get wet. overall ,very pleased with this purchase. very good edge out of box. update: like this knife so much for the price am ordering 2 more for my daughters bobs. would love to see them come with a slightly better sheath. would pay extra for that.

Really nice little EDC knife. Lightweight, factory edge was sharp enough, but I have to have mine like a razor, so it wasn't difficult. Overall it's not not bad at all for such a reasonable price.

Incredibly impressed with this blade. Arrived quickly and sharp right out the box. The Micarta handle fits nicely in my hand and the blade is thick enough for batoning. The sheath is quality leather and the stitching was straight and consistent. Incredible value

Nice Starter knife as the name implies (101). Defiantly not the best of knives but should work great for a starter knife for the weekend camping/ bush-craft warrior.

Solid construction and it holds an edge nicely. The sheath isn't great. Nice leather but there is nothing to hold the knife in.

I was a little reluctant to buy this knife because of online reviews about company. Perkin is based in London England but sources their knive from Pakistan. I don't like all the other designs way too flamboyant for my tastes but something about the shape of this one made me take a chance. I ordered and am happy to say the quality is top notch and the fit finish are smooth. Nice balance absolute pleasure to cut with. Much better than anything from China. I believe Pakistan does a great job making knives the styles of the other models need to be toned down a bit though.

Arrivato puntuale e in orario. Coltello di buon peso con una bella lama a foglia, affilatissima e priva di bave, l'impugnatura ha un'ottima grippatura e non scivola di mano durante il lavoro. Testato su una ramo secco di olmo, il taglio è regolare e la lama non presenta intaccature né segni di stress. Il manico a parziale scomparsa nella guaina è del tipo che preferico perché offre l'opportunità di portarlo appeso al collo, soprattutto in inverno quando sei in cammino. La guaina è un po' troppo rigida ma con una mandata di grasso per scarponi sono convinto che raggiunga la morbidezza necessaria. Ero sempre stato diffidente con i coltello con lame di 4 inch (10 cms o poco più) preferendo quelli con lama più lunga ma su questo sono stato costretto a ricredermi, sia per la maneggevolezza sia, per i risultati.Un oggetto che consiglio caldamente per chi è amante della vita all'aria aperta e del bushcraft (anche se è un po' corto)

Die Verpackung ist schlicht und das Messer ist gut eingepackt.Das Messer ist sehr schön verarbeitet.Der Griff fühlt sich in der Hand gut an.Die Kingenlänge beträgt 9 cm. Die Klingenstärke beläuft sich auf 3 mm. Es handelt sich um ein full tang Messer.Das Gewicht beträgt 178 Gramm. Das Messer ist grifflastig ausbalanciert. Der Griff und die Übergänge zum Metall sind alle eben geschliffen.Das Micarta Griffmaterial ist glatt geschliffen so dass es sich in der Hand gut anfühlt. Die Grifflänge ist für "normal große" Hände gerade noch geeignet. Die Grifflänge beträgt 10,5cm. Allerdings eignet sich so die Größe des Messers gut um es täglich mit sich zu führen.Am hinteren Ende des Griffs ist ein Loch für z.B. ein Lenjard. Der Griff ist am hinteren Ende nach unten geneigt so dass man mit der Hand nach hinten rutschen kann und mehr Gewicht auf der Klinge zu haben um auch leichte Hackarbeiten durchführen zu können.Die Klingel ist ballig geformt und läuft an der Spitze auf eine drop point Form zu. Geliefert wird das Messer mit einer guten Gebrauchsschärfe. Der Klingenrücken ist leicht angeschärft so dass auch der Feuerstahl damit bedient werden kann. Dies funktioniert nicht optimal aber es ist möglich.Das Messer ist auch gut zum schnitzen geeignet da man mit dem Zeigefinger bis zur Schneide nach vorne rutschen kann.Beim Schnitzen konnten gut Locken für einen Featherstick hergestellt werden. Beim Aufbrechen von Rinde und Holz zeigt sich die Messerspitze als sehr stabil ohne Verformungen. Selbst Batoning ist mit diesem Messer möglich, natürlich nur bei der entsprechenden Holzstärke für die Klingenlänge.
