What is going on with the finish? It's chrome on the left and right, but polished nickel on all the middle pieces. Yikes. I just ordered the same thing from the orange hardware store down the street...so I'll find out if this is a consistent thing with this product and update my review. It's weird though because most of my other Moen stuff has been properly chrome (except for this towel rack and the shower curtain rod). Oh, and do not use their garbage drywall anchors. Get yourself 4 self drilling drywall anchors to make the job easier.Update: The one I ordered from the hardware store is exactly the same.

We have purchased Moen towel racks before and were very satisfied with the appearance and ease of installation. However, there is a problem with this item -- or at least this batch. The shelf is very clearly skewed from back left to front right, it essentially appears warped. We exchanged the first one that arrived, only to have the same problem with the replacement -- which was also a repack (open box). We do not have time to go through this process again so have installed the replacement and will live with the less-than aesthetically-pleasing result. We are thinking that these may have been "seconds", purchased at a discounted price from Moen but not advertised as such by the vendor on Amazon. Live and learn.

I have two of these, ordering the second a couple of months after a second bathroom remodelling. Very functional and seem well constructed. Don't put much emphasis on my evaluation of difficulty of installation - my contractor did it both times and I didn't ask how easy they were to mount. Very pleased with the utility and appearance. Durability will take a while to evaluate. Both showers are large enough to allow positioning out of range of the direct water trajectory, so I keep a supply of clean towels easily accessible. Does the job nicely if you have the right place for it.

Our new apartment bathroom had very little storage, and only one small towel bar. This "train rack" style towel shelf was the solution. The rack is polished chrome, substantial and very attractive. It was much less expensive than something similar I saw in a PB catalog. We installed it above the toilet, high enough to allow two bath towels to be hung without interfering with a tissue box we keep on top of the tank. Make sure you check towel length before starting installation! The installation on a lath and plaster wall involved making substantial holes for the anchors (one of which was damaged and we had to replace locally). Once this rack is installed you won't be removing it! My brother, a seasoned do-it-yourselfer, found the installation to be moderately difficult. The rack easily holds 6-8 folded bath size towels above, plus two more on the towel bar. Great solution for a small bathroom. Our bath has a vintage feel, but this rack would work equally well in a contemporary setting.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Large enough to place folded bath towels side by side on top and hang a towel for current usage. I now have six towels stored freeing up my closet for bedding. It's an attractive solution freeing up space. Once correctly mounted it was solid and quite functional. The plating was well done and the chrom brtight. It is part of Moen's ISO line consisting of various bathroom fixtures, glass shelf and grab bars. I highly recommend this item and line. They look and function great.

It was pretty easy to install with a template that the manufacturer supplied. I did use an iron to flatten out the template, it has been folded into about 20 squares. Based on another review I used metal screw in anchors instead of the toggle bolts supplied so that I didn’t have to make such large holes in the wall and I didn’t have to use a drill. A level is really handy during installation as well!

Looks great. Sturdy if you install the toggle bolts correctly. The directions say to use a 1/2 inch drill bit but I had to use a 5/8 for the toggle bolts to fit.

I really love the way this looks in my spa inspired bathroom. Great quality product. I also bought the Iso 4 light fixture (I turned the lights up...not down..big difference), Iso ring towel holders and the Iso TP holder. Love this collection.The only thing I can say is that it is a better idea to attach this to a stud. It is pretty heavy and I even used 4 20lb drywall anchors (not the ones they sent). You can wobble the unit a little so I am sure I will need to re-do it at some point. Nice product.

First one came without a bracket so we exchanged it. Thought the construction was filmsy with the towel rod falling out on one side.Second one came missing a screw and felt so flimsy it was like a piece of paper flailing in the wind. Towel rod completely fell out.The finish is different between the rods and the bracket (with the bracket being a whiter chrome finish where the rods have a warmer tone.) It's absolutely terrible quality for what it costs.I can't believe Moen put their name on this product. If we didn't have good experiences with other Moen products in the past we would probably never buy anything else from Moen!

Its a very nice shelf. Taped the lower rod into the shelf, then adjusted the template's diagram to the assembled fit. Do not solely rely on the template. Take care with the prep and its an easy install from there. Love it.

a bit larger than I expected for my small bathroom but the product itself is awesome. Easy to install with the use of a paper template supplied in the box and heavy duty toggle bolt screws also supplied.

Spent some time finding the ‘right one’ for value vs quality. This matches both. Easy to install and good quality at a decent price.
