I have been using Natural Factors' glucosamine sulfate for almost one month and my knee is doing well.Natural Factors is a Canadian company which provides me some comfort of production standards and product efficacy. At the same time, why are there no 3rd party testing certification seals on the label? The label says the product is manufactured in accordance with GMP standards. That means they are following GMP guidelines, but their product is not officially GMP certified. Good manufacturing practices (GMP) are the practices required in order to conform to the guidelines recommended by agencies that control the authorization and licensing of the manufacture and sale of food and beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceutical products, dietary supplements, and medical devices. The main purpose of GMP is always to prevent harm from occurring to the end user. Additional tenets include ensuring the end product is free from contamination, that it is consistent in its manufacture, that its manufacture has been well documented, that personnel are well trained, and that the product has been checked for quality more than just at the end phase.I am not singling out Natural Factors. In fact, many supplement manufacturers are not GMP certifying their products anymore. As a consumer, look for GMP certified supplements. 3rd party testing certification keeps consumers safe.

I did a lot of research and narrowed down to the supplement that seems to have, however thin, the most scientific support for my needs. I am under 50 and do not have arthritis, but I am tough on my knees. I was taking this some time ago, and when the bottle was done I just stopped. Then my knees began hurting again. I went back on it two per day and have had no problems with my knees ever since.

My doctor recommended that I take this, and I moved and was having problems finding it at the local drug stores. So I checked on Amazon, and there it was. It means that I can always get it, and never have to try and find it. It sure makes life easier, and I can put it on subscribe and save and it saves me money and I never have to be without it. Thank you Amazon. I know that if I can't find it anywhere else, I can usually find it on Amazon.

Inexpensive (for Glucosamine), but the quality is good. I was having a lot of knee pain when walking, so I started taking 2 of these per day. It took a while (a couple months), but my knees improved steadily. I can now do my daily walk without much discomfort again. I'm quite pleased with these.

Bought these for my 2 aging dogs. They are the same thing as the pet brands at a fraction of the cost. It's a shame the pet care companies charge an arm and a leg for the same product being sold for human consumption. I could understand if it was chewable with meat flavor or something, but these look, feel, and have the exact same composition as the pet brands.

Excellent product at a fair price! Delivered on Time!!

Over the years, this is made a huge difference introducing general arthritic pain. I once didn't take it for a month and I saw the difference. Never again.
