Healthy Heat = Puppy Season!
The herbal compilation used in Breed Heat to bring on season is science-based and sound. It works well for us - usually w/in about 10 days. This review is mostly about my dosing hack. Important bc this stuff really does have a strong herbaceous flavor dogs don't like. I use Breed Heat powder mixed 1:1 with Kong Easy Treat Liver Flavor. 1 scoop breed heat, and 1 big dollop EZ Treat. Then mix w/a small spatula until combined and doughy. Mixed this way, you'll get a play-doh type ball that you can roll into a fat snake, then cut into perfect bite-size treats... which I put in a bed of EZ Treat in my palm and my girls take happily. My boys are jealous! You can also store it this way, so you don't have to mix every day. 1 scoop equals about 5 treats at the size my dogs like them. And each 1 scoop batch of treats I store in a tiny Tupperware container from the Dollar Store. That way I know exactly how much she's getting. My dogs are picky, and the way this method turns the powder into a legitimate palatable treat w/o any cooking or much prep-time is pretty cool. And I expect that at some point the company, Thomas Pets, will use a similar method at the factory level in order to make this product more palatable and easier to give. The last pic shows all the supplements I use for my dams, all delivered in a bed of EZ Treat. I start with Breed Heat to bring on proestrus. Once in season I switch to Bitch Pills, as they contain all the vitamins and minerals my girl needs to help many healthy follicles mature. I use BP through estrus/standing heat and during her actual pairing w/her stud. Then once she is confirmed pregnant I switch to OxyMate, and discontinue Bitch Pills - as they contain calcium! (I'm not sure why, bc it's well known that pregnant dogs should not have calcium supplements bc they can lead to a deadly condition called hypocalcemia during whelping.) But in any case, I avoid that risk by switching to OxyMate which does not contain calcium. During whelping I switch again to OxyMama not here pictured. Every breeder does things a bit differently, but in my program it all starts with Breed Heat. For us it's the very first step to gorgeous, healthy litters of Chihuahua pups, and I recommend the product. [email protected] ***If this review helped you please hit it w/a like!***

Definitely worth it
I bought this because my female has split heats. I've had her checked by the vet and she's healthy. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars for hormone pills that honestly she don't need I tried this. It completely worked. She hated the taste. The only way I could get her to eat it is to mix it a little bit of ground beef then I fed her her regular homemade food. She learned really quick to eat this first so she can get her meal. We have puppies coming soon.

Bad tasting but i have a recipe!
Okay so this stuff like everyone says tastes terrible my girl will eat even the worst tasting medicines she was on painkillers that i know tasted foul for a small injury a while ago and she would still take it if i put it in her mouth and held her chin up but with this stuff she foams at the mouth absolutely refusing to eat it she shakes her head and will bite my fingers or refuse to open her mouth for me to put it in ive never seen this reaction to anything before but i got it figured out i have dog treats out of them with a super simple recipe just grind up your dry dog food go through your counters and fridge for typical dog things like bbq sauce peanut butter gravy anything like that add the supplement and dog food then the mix i used bbq sauce and hotdog chucks in mine the stir it you want it a dough kind of consistency like playdough just enough to stick together without sticking to your hands add water if needed be sure to check with your dog on whether or not they will eat it if not add more of dog food or flavoring you can make them any shape you want i did meatballs you can let it sit and feed squishy or bake it warning your house will smell like dog food she downs an entire meatball a day and has absolutely no problem doing it as for how it works so far i havent yet noticed a change but i just started her on it and she went into heat 2 days before it got here she has very very unreliable heats sometimes going a full year or more which is why i got this but i will update this if any changes happen im hoping they will i hope my recipe helps! Edit this works just as its supposed to she went into heat on time and whelped a big healthy puppy

Works
So I don't know if it was just a coincidence or not but after using this for a few weeks my dog did go into heat. I am a small time breeder and I've never had this problem before but one of my girls was 14 months old and still didn't have a cycle. Honestly she could have had a silent heat but all my dogs are together in my house so I think my two males would have picked up on it. She is now successfully pregnant so I'd call it a win and I would buy it again

Not sure yet but they've changed the texture..for the good!
Its easy enough to dose my exotic shorthair queens. I just got 20 ml syringes ..mixed up several doses ..did the math and voila! Hold their heads up and squirt a little in at a time. The formula years ago was rough. Like sand or coarse chopped herbs..but this is like dessicated liver powder and smells similar The mix stayed down. So now we wait!

Product Works As Advertised In One Week!
This stuff is magic! I gave it to my cat and within ONE week, she’s in heat!! It’s amazing! I was slightly skeptical but a friend of a friend recommended it. If your cat is a ready, it will work! There is a LOT of the formula in the jar too. I think it’s a great value. As others have said, my cats hated the flavor but I fed it daily and it worked! Couldn’t recommend this enough!

This breed heat doesn’t work
I started using this on my Female 2weeks before her heat cycle witch is 3/5/19 & it didn’t work. Today is 3/5/19 & she still hasn’t started so I decided to stop giving it to her. This was a big disappointment I was hoping she would start sooner then her regular date...

GREAT STUFF!
I’m a Frenchie breeder and I had 2 females that were taking a lot longer than usual for their 2nd heats to come around. I wanted to try something that would regulate their heat. After about 2 weeks of supplementing them with this stuff they both had their heat shortly after!! Glad to have found something that promotes regular heat cycles. WORTH THE $$

Bought this for my bitch who had a split season. After two weeks of this she came into season. I heard that some dogs didn’t like the taste but I didn’t have that problem I mixed it in with her food (raw fed) and she happily ate it. Pricey but worth it definitely worked for my girl.
