Belly Dance Hip Scarf for Women S/M/L/XL

Bought this hip scarf to use in teaching an amateur belly dance class. Thank you for making a larger size! The scarf is long enough, wide enough, and well made. There are "coins" on it, but they do not make a lot of noise when shaken. There is some "noise" -- just not a lot. If you want more noise you'll have to add some metal paillettes, and/or use finger cymbals when dancing. My class was for the purpose of exercise and strengthening the core. This was perfect for highlighting the motion and looking good while moving. One student said the scarf is so pretty, she would wear it around the house to practice her "moves" in front of the mirrors. I would recommend this product.

I purchased the Sm/Med,black with gold coins. I am 5'7, 207lbs and my hips are 52 inches. This wraps to the back of my thighs. Usually I am an XL but not with this.It does have a strong smell when unpacking.This is a perfect addition to my Renaissance attire! And I like the quality of the fabric as well.Thank you for making a great product.

I bought this to wear with my gypsy outfit for Halloween. I got the XL, I'm 5'5" and about 180 lbs. I have plenty of hip and it still fit great. The coins are very shiny and they jingle when you walk, this was definitely a great find!

This skirt is absolutely stunning. it is perfect and unique. I tried it on and it was a perfect fit. I have to return it because the smell is absolutely horrid. I figured there would be some kind of fire retardant on it and so I hand washed it first with Dawn dish soap. I immediately noticed that my hands smelled extremely strongly of that chemical smell even after washing them multiple times. I set the skirt out to dry in the sun, and when I came back out it's still smelled just as strong as before. I then tried OxiClean and vinegar with some water to try to get rid of the smell. it did not work. The smell was less, but still incredibly strong. what's worse is that the clothes I had on when I tried on the belt when it first came in also wreaked of the chemical smell. I've washed those clothes multiple times in the smell is finally starting to fade.honestly the skirt is amazing, but the smell is so horrendous that I cannot keep it in my house. I've kept it in a box in my garage until I return it because it is seriously that strong.. disappointing :(

I got this belt for a belly dancing class. I wanted one so that the beads and coins went all the way around with no gaps. I chose to get the large size (I weight 150 pounds and have a curvy figure). When it arrived, the beaded part went all the way around, but when I tied it, some of the beads and coins would tangle in the knot. I carefully cut the beads and coins off to my desired length. I sewed the end beads and coins in place so it wouldn’t unravel. It was perfect.Some people have mentioned a smell. Because of this, I took a big whiff when I got it. It was a very faint smell (like the plastic packaging), and if the reviews hadn’t mentioned it, I would have never noticed it at all. I highly recommend this product. It’s a good quality for the price, and I plan on using the beads and coins I cut off to make a bracelet or anklet. I wish they had more colors and some complimentary accessories.
