This book addresses this need.While the book’s title states that it helps prepare for a CAT I exam, the book goes beyond the CAT I body of knowledge on signal processing. Anyone working on vibration analysis, even early in their careers, will cross paths with topics in signal analysis that go beyond the CAT I body of knowledge. As such, I would hope that those who seek this to prepare for an exam also learn from the questions material that will help them in their jobs.The material covered should be at a suitable level for those preparing for a CAT I exam. If one has trouble answering a large number of the questions, I suggest that they re-study and then re-try the questions prior to taking the exam. Too often people are under prepared for the exam, and this book will help in the preparation to take a CAT I exam.
