Review: Nauzene is great for mildly upset tummies - While this isn't the typical type of review I post, it's sort of an important one. This item is a favorite in both my medicine cabinet and my handbag. I have a medical condition that occasionally causes nausea and Nauzene is a product I happened across in a local drugstore which stopped carrying it. desertcart to the rescue! While a tad bitter, there are masking salts in the ingredient list which I assume are to cover up the bitterness and they do a satisfactory job. And, in just minutes, the nausea lessens, if not completely abates. I no longer need a prescription medication for my upset stomach issues. If you have similar problems, give it a try. It's an awesome product and it works well and fast. I swear by it and have shared this information with everyone I know who has had such a need. UPDATE 1/18/17: had an ailment this week for which I needed this product badly. As it happens, I, ehrm, shall we say tasted the product both ways, and it was quite unpleasant. The bitterness was no longer masked at all and I encountered strange reflux with of it, as well. Had to stop using it for its intended purpose during this sickness. Therefore, my recommendation is for mild nausea only. Still, it's a great product for that use.
Review: Very effective - I'm on some necessary medication that unfortunately gives me terrible nausea. It helps to lie down with an ice pack at the back of my neck but that's rarely possible, so I desperately needed something to control the nausea so I can somewhat function. I used to take Emetrol but it was very hit or miss & it's not convenient to carry a liquid around, so I needed an alternative. I'm SO glad I tried Nauzene based on the desertcart reviews!!! The best I was hoping for was to reduce my nausea to a bearable level, but within ten minutes max the nausea is completely gone! GONE!!! I keep some in my car, my husband's truck, my purse, my son's diaper bag, my parents' house, etc. so I'm never without it. The taste is pretty much like candy & though the box days to take two, I've found that even taking one is very effective for me. I wish I'd found Nauzene years ago!

**Q: it looks like a bunch of sugar and chemicals-is glucose noted as the ingredient that stops nausea, really?**
A: YES! I was skeptical too, but it has helped me with my chronic nausea for years now. If you're experiencing a really bad bout, this and a ginger capsule will be your miracle combo. I will say that as a long time user, I think that the company recently tweaked their formula, the taste and consistency is slightly different- and not in a good way, but it still works. Nauzene is easier to find now, I used to have to order it on amazon or go to certain pharmacies, but I recently saw it at Target. I'm guessing the change might be attributed to this growth.

**Q: How does this compare in efficacy to something like Tums?  Looking for nausea relief due to harsh medications on stomach lining.  Any recommendations?**
A: Tums is more effective for acid indigestion, burning sensation. Nauzene is not effective for acid indigestion but very effective for nausea, feeling queasy, feeling like you want to vomit. Very effective, but sometimes you have to take a few every 15 minutes and will eventually work. Has a sweet/salty but not too unpleasant taste.

These Nauzene chewable are fantastic, and work quickly. I've bought these locally for several years and now via Amazon due to pandemic. I am NOT happy with the scarcity OR the price gouging by Amazon sellers. There's capitalism and then there is pure price gouging. I *do* recommend this but watch the prices.
