Worthy of a true review
I rarely leave reviews for the things I purchase since I buy a lot online and don't have time but decided to do it for this product since many people might find themselves on the fence about this product because of its higher price point in comparison to other pads. I have used Blaklader for a while I have their knee pads that go in my work pants.... When I found this product and company I decided to give them a try. Just yesterday I spent about 6-7 hours kneeling laying tiles first I used the Blaklader and they were comfortable and did the job as always but I am a heavier build (230lbs 6ft) and I could feel the floor on my knees after about 2 hours, that's when I usually take a break and let my knees rest a bit but yesterday I switched to these pads instead.... The final result was that I was able to work for 4+ more hours without stopping, these pads are different and could withstand my heavy build and still provide that support and protection so I wouldn't feel the floor on my knees, I am extremely happy with my purchase and will be purchasing their strap knee pads as well, this company will be the only one I choose from now on for my knee protection I guess if I could give pros and cons they would be:Pros; soft gel like feeling on your knees.Handles heavier built guysEasy comfortable fit in my Blaklader pants (even more so then the Blaklader pads)They are built tough!Cons:They are a bit heavier then normalKnee pads. ( and that really is the only con)I didn't put price as a con because paying the amount they are worth for more comfort during my jobs and coming home feeling much better is as relief! Yes you can buy 3 Blaklader pads with how much these are worth but honestly.... These would hold up longer then those blakladers..... So if you are on the fence, seriously try them and you won't regret it!

Very solid, hard to fit into certain pants
These are huuuuge. They work great, so I can’t complain too much. I installed about 5,000 screws in a huge deck we just built, and these saved my knees. The only problem is that I won’t be able to take them back out of my pants. I only barely persuaded them in!The Carhartt thin pads are much easier to get in and out, but they offer half the comfort of these guys. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Still ooking for those Goldilocks inserts.

Very nice knee pads
I was sceptical at first, but after a few weeks of daily use, these are very comfy with no, I mean NO hot spots. Very comfy! Time will tell how they hold up, but i honestly think they will last much longer than the foam, or gel pads.

Favorite slip in knee pads
I just got these slip in knee pads a few weeks ago. Really happy with them so far compared to the other brands I've used so far. Lots of cushioning for a big guy like me and I'm impressed with the robustness and ingenuity of the design. I'm using them with daily with Blaklader trousers.

really wanted to like them, but they're too heavy and bulky and just weird
I really wanted to like them, but I don't. I've had them for a couple of months and have used them in Blakladder pants. They're good knee pads, they have a good amount of cushion to them and I'm gonna keep using them, but they sit weird in the knee pockets and are just way too heavy for hours and hours of work. I have some simple CAT knee pads that I've used for a year and will stick with them for most jobs and only use these if I'm going to be doing a lot of floor work and don't want to use my good pro knee pads. All in all, they're definitely not bad. I would recommend them if you're doing something where you're on your knees a lot, but that's not why I have knee pads in these workpants. I have job specific knee pads for tiling. I need knee pads for the odd times of the day when I need to kneel for a second here or there, or to get down and back up.

Always feeling great. They work well with my work pants. And haven’t had a problem washing and air drying them at all

Ooooooo that’s nice!
These knee pads are an answer to prayer! If your line of work requires you to be on your knees you need these I’m a HVAC service/repair man and sometimes you need knee pads but the strap on ones leave rashes on the back of my knees so I have to asses what I’m doing then go back out to the service truck to put them on if needed. with these they are always there with no straps! It was hard finding good pants that have knee pad pockets I tried Carhartt double front pants and they did not hold the knee pad in the right spot more of a shine guard let me save some of you some returns look at the Caterpillar pants they have several styles that accept knee pad inserts and is easy to insert and remove

Best knee pads on the market.
Great knee pads. I have them in most of my work pants. New pair for a new pants. I have tried all Snickers knee pads the D30, bean bags and these are far better.

Finally, machine washable knee pads.
I work offshore on vessels that support the renewables and Oil & Gas industry. The equipment I work on means I'm on my knees a lot, and I come into contact with grease and hydraulic oil daily. This means I have to wash my coveralls daily, and use two pairs that I wear on alternative days. For years I've used different brands of knee pad inserts, and while they are often comfy enough to begin with, they start to deteriorate with heat when kneeling on a hot deck, or worse if I've forgot to remove them and put my coveralls to the laundry, they will come back shrunk to half their size and have lost all cushioning ability and won't stay in the knee pockets any more.Anyhoo: I hunted for machine washable inserts as I had an idea that I could sew the knee pockets closed if I had machine washable. I ordered two of these, which was significantly more expensive than the brands I normally use. They arrived and we're bigger than I expected, but luckily my new coveralls I'd just received from work had knee insert pockets big enough. I put them in, stitched the knee pockets closed, and that was it.I'm writing this after having done the first trip offshore using them, and I am so pleased with them. It may seem trivial, but finishing the shift, emptying my coverall pockets and not having to faff around with taking the knee pads out is great, and even better is not having the worse faff of putting them in before shift. They lasted a month of each being washed on alternative days, and there was no deterioration in the feel, thickness or shape. Now for the negatives: they are not as soft, nor as comfy as the non-machine washable types. This is obviously a trade off with being able to withstand constant machine washing and tumble drying. I did find on extended time on knees I'd need to adjust my knees a little due to the mesh shape pressing in. They are a quite large and add due to being less flexible and soft you have this big square shape kicking around on the front t of the coveralls, so it took a little getting used to. However, for me these trade offs are worth it for them being able to be permanently fixed into my boiler suits.
