Bought a this Braun water flosser on the strength of using their toothbrushes, which I have to say have proved to be excellent over the years, so much so that when the originals expired we bought the same model again.My experience with this water flosser has been less satisfying, the water output seems to be weak, (not that I can compare it to any other), I have to use it on the intensive setting to feel it’s doing any good.It does fill your mouth with water and you do have to exercise caution or you will spill it all over yourself and the bathroom... (but that would be the same for any other water flosser).The battery life between charges is less than with the toothbrush, although to be fair the toothbrush battery life does seem to be exceptional, so maybe I am guilty of expecting too much.In the final analysis I do have to say despite my minor niggles above I am fairly pleased with it, since using it I do feel that my teeth have benefitted, my mouth does feel cleaner, so as long as you bear in mind my niggles above I would recommend it.

Item arrived in a box which was perfect condition. Just removing the item from the box the water tank came loose. Read instructions. The tank would not securely fasten to the unit. Checked out the so called clip which had a extremely weak spot. Phoned Oral B who were useless. Mentioned pressure wasn't very good. Apparently had to be totally charged to obtain full pressure. Little clear blue clip attaching tank to unit just fell off. Phoned Amazon explained situation gave full credit instantly, Fair play! Fully charged the unit and put elastic bands around tank to hold it onto the unit. I am 60 have serious neurological problems and gum problems but didn't even effect the nerves with cold water. Not worth the cost of electric to charge. You can swish your mouth and floss quicker and more effective. Sadly disappointing to say the least. So glad that the unit was faulty, it would have been another gadget to the recycling and a waste of money. After this review if you do purchase one, I wouldn't recommend putting the tank in the dishwasher the rubber seals are totally useless. I have all Oral B products which are very good, this product could ruin their name!

Disapointed with flow rate, cumbersome.Does not compare in any way with my old Phillips Sonicare (slimline model , lasted 15 years, no longer available!).

It does the job but absolutely no better than cheaper models. Already owned a generic water flosser, but got this for child who is getting braces. It came with a second nozzle so I took that and compared the two flossers… Oral B was less powerful on high, med & low/sensitive and also had a smaller reservoir of water. Oral B did not provide the improvement in results that the price tag suggests it should.
