It has a very nice appearance which first attracted me to it. It is glass so it cleans easily but the downfalls are it also breaks easily. It is fairly thin so one small bump and it cracks. No matter how careful I was I broke my first one with a very slight bump. It pops nice popcorn. The glass handle does get hot if you do more than one batch at a time. I did buy a 2nd one after breaking my first so I like it. But I wished it were a bit more sturdy or a protection around it to prevent easy breakage.
