Rubbermaid Clear Pitcher, 1 Gallon, Red

Great for a big jug of sweet tea. We have been using this for months and still a great purchase. The handle has been redesigned and feels better and smoother than the older version we have. I wish the lid had a deeper area to grab the top to remove it. But still yet a good product.

It can be a challenge to find products that go the extra mile. While its design is quite simple, it's perfect. The pitcher has little notches that the lid uses to seat itself into any of the four positions (Closed, Strainer, Closed, Free pour). Clearly labeled measurements (1 quart intervals) going up the side of the thing in case you need them.

This was a gift for my friend. I poured some tea yesterday at her house and loved the balance and style of hers. My Rubbermaid pitcher’s lid style is different and I like this style better.

When I first bought this pitcher I considered it to be a wrestling match to get the lid out of the pitcher and I shelved the whole thing for a few months. It turns out giving it a quarter turn unlocks the lid. Who knew? Also, this pitcher doesn't stain anywhere near as much as the older models. Good product.

The pitcher is practical and sturdy. I use it to hold prepared drinks. The material is good, durable and easy to clean. The only drawback is that the capacity scale only shows one gallon. If there were scales showing every 32oz, it would be more convenient for people who need to mix drinks according to fixed proportions.

Great size seems like good plastic and bpa free. Doesn’t seem cheap like some off brands.

Lid not as pictured. How hard is it for rubbermaid to create a new stock photo? How hard is it for the seller to take a photo rather than use an incorrect stock photo?

Love rubbermaid. Pitcher is sturdy and no drip lid.
