Is this a design flaw?
I ordered this as a recommended add-on to the BCB cruasder cook kit. It fits perfectly inside. The metal nesting cup is a little snug, but you want it that way. No rattling noises to annoy your outing. There is even has a little extra room on top for more things. I suspect this could kit other army issue cook-sets too. e.g Swiss or Swedish. And this is where the problem presented itself to me. Fitting it to a molle backback etc.The poppers are not too tight on the molle straps, and make a reasurring click when they're closed. Then you see it. The straps seem to be sewed on upside-down. They're sewen on at the bottom and the poppers at the top. This is an irritating design mistake in my opinion. Let me explain... The poppers take the weight of the whole pouch. I filled my 1L bottle of water , slid it back into the pouch and had enough room for 500ml water bladder on top. Brilliant. This was too much for the poppers load bearing abilities. It just could not hold on.The weight of the pouch pushing down on the molle webbing pried the poppers apart. Okay, maybe an extra 50%'ish weight increase is too much. So I removed the extra water and tried again. When you have a full bottle in the pouch, vigorous activitiy (like running, a long step down, or a even a simple swing around to check behind you) makes the poppers come undone and it falls off. This happened to me too often within a few minutes. The last incident saw the pouch launch itself through a bush and down the nearby hill. I'm giving it a half-star for entertainment value alone. the pouch did keep my companions smiling & laughing. So take it easy when you've a full bottle, and you'll get much enjoyment as you can from a pouch.

Substandard MOLLE design
For some unknown reason the molle straps are upside down placing all the stress on the poppers which now are at the top of the system. The problem is further compounded by the straps being wafer thin with absolutely no rigidity to them. Its pretty useless really when compared to the original (correctly made) camo version that came with my Mk1. I wanted the black version to go on my black battle belt and presumed that it would be identical. This is a very very poor piece of kit that will probably be sent back. It is also very tight, but considering the fact that it isnt really fit for purpose anyway, I suppose this is a mute point.

Good size, fiddly poppers and mounting straps. Pocket inside can make it awkward.
I don't love this product. It is good quality but the flap doesn't ever quite fit right. I bought two of them and they work well except when you have something in the little internal pocket. Then it becomes a pain to remove your BCB cooking cup.I have the military water bottles from nalgene inside the cup and inside this pouch. Also, on the back the straps to moun onto molle are a bit of a fiddle. the poppers are way too tight to undo to mount it and cannot be removed. I would prefer that they could be completely removed so you can fit what you like.

Decent pouch
Feels sturdy, still have to get the bcb gear to put into it. The one thing that could be improved is the plastic buckle.
