A well written outline of an old method of spiritual protection, one should get training in this system of cosmology from a lineage holder, Buddhism is a must to practice this but it is combined with Daoism as the main incantation is mentioned in the Baopuzi. This is a very much appreciated text, I had gotten a hold of a densho written in three different languages with an English interpretation that apparently is the exact same outline as what is in this text, maches up.

65 pages with great information but poor quality of the images.
65 pages (+3 pages of Bibliography) with great information but poor quality of the images. Dr. Clum's Kuji books could turn into a beautiful collection if he updates the information with high resolution photos of all deities and hands positions of the statues/paintings, related to the Kuji seals and details of "knitting" of the fingers. I would insert a high resolution copy of the original manuscript too.I like finding all the information (on a single subject) I'm looking for in one well organized and written book.

the juice is worth the squeze
this book is almost what you wanna see when it comes to what would "look like" in say the bujinkan type system of kuji it gives you back grounds and other facts than say a mikkyo book would..it could be a stand alone book but you should NEVER train the kuji with out some sort of guidance this book could help coupled with a lesson or two ... its mystical subject and a religious one...right off as with most teachers say...learn Buddhism if you really want to get into this...its hard line there. or is it?theres a book called shingon which i also own its very deep and not looking at it from a practical art like mr clum does here...shingon is for those who are ready to make that religious step. ahhhh.. religion...could be here all day, but hes not its a good buy. his other book on gyokko ryu and togakure ryu is great as well... worth the price for those that like to get a little more info.
