The media could not be loaded. This is a high quality fan. I am trying this style and another style to exhaust the warm air from my closed in shelf / 3-sided-box in a walk-in closet that I use as my wiring closet for Wi-Fi, home network, NAS and security video recorder.It is a solid fan but has three hardware shortcomings that the manufacturer should be correcting:1) the screw holes on the 'back' side of the fan intended to mount the grill are NOT COUNTERSUNK despite the provided screws being intended for countersunk holes. It is ironic that the holes right next to them to mount this fan in a chassis are countersunk.2) There are only two screws provided (although the instruction sheet says four), so it is presumed they are for the grill. That said, those screws are too long and project beyond the grill in what could be a dangerous length to catch skin depending on where the fan is mounted. So, I just took some simple SHEET METAL SCREWS I had on hand and screwed the grill directly to the housing.3) Numerous buyers rightly complain that the thin wiring to the fan has no strain relief and could be torn free, particularly in the applications where it says this could be a blower for a BBQ or fireplace. I SOLVED that by applying a self-adhesive wire dressing clips I had on hand plus a the twist tie that was on the fan's cord.Looking forward to finding the right combination of (variable) fan speed and noise to exhaust the desired amount of heat.

This blower is exactly what I was expecting and works great. The airflow is about half of a standard hairdryer but much quieter. My use case is a little different from most folks so I aded some pictures. I wanted the ability to do timelapse pictures during storms and there are solutions out there for keeping the rain off the lens during a storm but they are anywhere from $1,000 to $15,000 and I figured I could get 80% there for $20. So I already had a plexiglass shield for my camera and I just mounted this fan on the underside of the shield and it works great blowing the rain out of the way so drops don't land on the lens. Actually works pretty well and I love the variable remote that come with it. It made the whole DIY installation a snap.

Used controller in another project. Worked out great. Fan was as advertised and would work well for ventilation.

Works great for car audio.I cut the wire fitting off at the end of the wire- to connect it to the ground and the remote wire inlets.Fans turn on when I turn the key. Both fans keep my amp from overheating, even in the Arizona triple digits°.Very effective, not noisy at all.I definitely recommend for the car audio enthusiast. It works.

My wife has an inflatable palm tree that she loves but the fan wouldn't spin when I got it out for the Summer. I couldn't find the same decoration but after an exhaustive search I was able to find this motor & fan with almost the same housing. After swapping out part of the cases & connecting the wires, the inflatable palm stood tall & saved the Independence Day pool party.

Arrived the next day, really solid build, and will hopefully last a while. I’ll definitely buy another one if I need it.

The fan makes a lot of noise when running at 12 volts. I reduced the voltage to 5 volts and the noise is much less but i don’t get the volume of air i wanted.

Perfect fan for Motorhome ammonia fridge. Keeps the coils nice and cool which drops the fridge temp by 3-5 degrees. Super quiet and the design lets you point the airflow in any direction you want!
