Solid hooks for big fish
These hooks, 4x Trebles, in 1/0 size are a good size to upgrade your 2 oz. - 3 oz. jigs for salmon, striper, or ocean fishing. They are slightly larger than the stock hooks, but offer better strength from bending and breakage. The price is competetive too. I recommend getting a quality pair of split ring pliers too, such as the Xuron 496.UPDATE: I put these on some Cabelas Real Image 2 oz jigs after having issues with the stock hooks (such as bending and breakage). What a difference new upgrade hooks make. The last weekend of 2014, I hooked into some big rock fish and did not lose many fish with these hooks. The hooks held up to the abuse of 5 lbs Cabezons (4 of them) and a bunch of 3 lbs black rock fish and a 5 lbs vermillion rock fish out of Bodega Bay. With fish like that in the bag, I easily wear out my lures, but not that day.

Function well for stinger hooks for kingfish rigs. Only good for 1 use as they rust fast, but good value for the cost.
