Does a great job sealing mylar bags!
This sealer works like a commercial sealer. I wanted this product to process mylar bags of food and I wanted to make sure the bags were sealed properly. Many people use cheap flat irons to seal their mylar bags, but this sealer provides about 4 seal lines that look like the seals on food you get in the grocery store. My bags look so professional! This sealer seals both the top and bottom of the bag at the same time. I'm really impressed with the heat output and how easy this sealer to use. I recommend it if you're a prepper!

Good product
Works exactly as described in the instruction paper. We need it on high and in 3-10 seconds max the mylar bags are sealed perfectly. This item saves me a lot of time, instead of using a curling iron or any other heating device.

What holder goes with this?
This unit works fine but it needs a holder or cradle to operate. Where can I find this cradle? I imagine that it is foot operated.

Well worth the money!
Forget the flat irons or irons and straight edge. Do yourself a favor and get this for sealing your Mylar bags. It's very quick and creates a ridged and perfect seal in under five seconds. If you are going through time and effort to store food get a tool that really works and works well.

Useless and waste of money!
It looks great in principle. I got it, plugged it in and then tried to seal my bags. It became frustrating and took way too much valuable time.I had to prop it open with a ball of aluminum foil each time I wanted to use it, place my bag in, take out the aluminum ball and hope my bag was in the right spot.I started looking at other crimp sealers and they sit in an open position then you close it.I don’t know if this thing is broken or this is how it is. For me, it’s useless when I’m trying to do things efficiently. I’m going to try to return it and then buy a new one. Very disappointed.

This is exactly what you need to seal mylar bags
These work great. Let them heat up about 5 minutes, you press the bag for about 4 seconds, and it is sealed. The bags get very warm where the seal is, just let it cool off before messing with the bag again, seriously, or you'll mess it up. I do wish I had bought the wider one, as my bags are well over 6" wide, but doing it twice is not a big deal and works great.

Affordable, Works great!
This was a great price for how well it works. Bought one of a different variety that did not heat evenly and worked terribly. Bought this one and it's so easy to use and effective.

Mylar bag sealer
First and foremost, it's a bag sealer. Plug it in, choose your desired heating temperature (based on bag thickness) and wait 5 minutes. I haven't had any real issues using it. Only had one bad seal when I was testing it out......which could've been due to my technique.
