Godefroy Instant Eyebrow Color, Dark Brown, .18 ounces, 12-weeks of long lasting brow color, 3-applications per kit

I’ve been using this stuff for years after buying the single application pack at a local drug store. The color is great and lasts a long time! I had my brows done at a salon awhile back to treat myself before a vacation. The color didn’t last as long as this stuff does! It’s quick, easy and budget friendly. Highly recommend.

I’ve included a photo to show the difference—my right eyebrow is natural (light and thin), and the left is right after applying the tint and gel. It looks super dark and thick at first, but don’t be alarmed—this is totally normal! Once you wipe it clean and give it a few hours to settle, it softens into a natural-looking tint that’s just a bit darker than your original brows.I also added a second photo showing my current eyebrows, three days after tinting—and that’s after three long, hot showers and regular face washing! The color holds up really well and still looks great.I got the medium brown shade and I’m really happy with the results. It lasts about three weeks for me, and unless I’m going out and doing a full face of makeup (which is rare!), I don’t even bother filling in my brows anymore. It saves me so much time.My tips: apply carefully, and keep some damp Q-tips nearby in case you need to clean up any edges. I leave the tint on for about 5 minutes so it stains the skin slightly—this helps since my brows are naturally so thin.This product has definitely earned a permanent spot in my routine. It helps me stick to a more low-maintenance lifestyle and feel confident even without makeup. I used to always feel the need to fill in my eyebrows, but not anymore!

I have tried many other eyebrow tinting products, but this one is my favorite. I even like it better than when I’ve had it done professionally. However, I quickly learned that you can use much less than the recommended amount thereby getting many more applications from each pack. Also, instead of the stick applicator provided in the package, I used a brush. And most importantly, because I have blonde brows, I left the product on triple the amount of time recommended in the instructions.

I have been using a different eyebrow dying product from the same company: “Godefroy TintKit” on my eyebrows for at least 15 years. It works fantastically. I thought this would be a good option to be able to take with my on work trips because they were pre mixed sealed applications. Big mistake. Unfortunately, this product from them: Instant Eyebrow Color is a complete waste of money and your valuable time. It takes the same amount of time to assemble (actually, it’s kind of a pain in the ass and messy, and it doesn’t work). I thought ”Great, this will save me some time and space in my suitcase”. Not only was it more expensive than the original product (you get less applications) but it did not make my eyebrows any darker( it almost feels like it made them redder) and did not even dye the super fine blond facial hair on my brows that are under your main eyebrows. I did it twice just to make sure, and it still had no effect. Maybe it will add a tiny bit of “reddish brown” color on your skin underneath your eyebrows(barely), but it does not take on your eyebrow hair. Yes, I followed the directions correctly and read the useless troubleshooting guide. I ended up following those two useless applications with one from my tried and true Godefroy Tint Kit and that as always, worked like a charm. So it took me 3 times as long as usual to tint my eyebrows this time and I wasted $14. Stick with the original.

I got shade dark brown because I got scared of getting black and it looking crazy on me. I used a q-tip to smudge the front to not make them look like sharpie eyebrows. I think it turned out amazing. I did do a patch test first. I followed the instructions. I did one test trial following the instructions and wanted it darker so I did a second round. Then I ended up with my preferred results and it’s held up better than any other brow dye I’ve tried.Edit: once it faded entirely after 8 days, my eyebrows looked lighter more than my natural color… so if you have dark hair just a warning, maybe I’ll get the black color instead
