I am caregiver for my husband who has late stage Parkinson's and when I'm not in a room with him and he needs help he uses the whistle to get my attention. His voice is very low and you often can't understand what he is saying, so the whistle at least makes sure that I hear he needs help. He lost his other one so I was glad to find this order that had several in the event he loses another one.

I decided to set up and emergency kit in my home in case something happened and I needed help. I am a single male who is getting older and last year I fell on the ice and was non-weight bearing for 6 months. I should carry one of these with me everywhere I go and may do that in the winter, but this was a necessary item for my emergency kit and I am thrilled with them. There are enough of them they can be placed in several places around the house/apartment where one is always available if there is an emergency.
