Booja Booja The Wonderbox Chocolate Truffles, 230g

These are our favourite chocolates normally. However, on this occasion the chocolate guide description leaflet did not match the order the chocolates were in. Family chose flavours they thought they’d like but were actually not as listed.

The first item arrived damaged (it had been stuffed in a box with something else at the warehouse) and as it was a gift I tried to return it. The seller advised I could keep it and sent me another one. So I got to try them as well as give the gift. As a result I'll be treating myself in future. The truffles are really silky, luxurious and great dark choc flavours.

I purchased some Booja Booja chocolates years back (39 years ago) at a health shop and at the time I didn't like them as up until then, I had eaten the run of the mill chocolates from your local newsagents. Since then I have adventured further afield. Ameidi, Michael Cluizel, Pralus ect. I recently purchased some Booja Booja from Waitrose and realised just how good they taste. The combination of cocoa powder, firm chocolate and an added flavours are really good. They aren't creamy like Belgium chocolate and they don't contain much sugar, that's why they aren't overwhelmingly sweet, you just get the cocoa hit. The Rhubarb and Vanilla are very mild and nice contrast to Cherry Cognac one's which are nicely strong. The salted caramel are slightly chewy, the honeycomb Chocolates are a good combination of sweet and crunchy which tempers the strong cocoa flavour. So good I have now purchased another box because I don't want to run out just yet.

Simply sublime... discovered these when my daughter went vegan, this particular 'Wonderbox' make a great present, as it is a nice selection of some of the best flavours... Highly recommended... :-)

Absolute luxury and no compromise that they are vegan. Highly recommend them. Go on, treat yourself.

Love the tangy rhubarb flavour ones .Very rich and luxurious. Not the sort of chocolate you just eat whole … nibble … savour sort of deal . Vegan heaven. I first tried when I was gifted some . Now I’m addicted! 🙈❤️

The chocolate box looks absolutely lovely and looks good enough for a gift - which this is for. Unfortunately the safety seal on the chocolate box was open and I am now unable to gift these and will have to throw them out as returns aren't available. I'm sure the flavours are lovely based on other reviews however, I cannot comment on that. You also get 20 chocolates total which is around £1.05 per chocolate, so you don't get much for your money.

These are good chocolates which I normally buy from a shop, however the use by date on these was less than 3 weeks. Received on 26th Jan 2022 and use by date was 13th Feb 2022! They were a gift and I had to ask my friend to open her present early. Very disappointed!
