Wish I could wear loafers everywhere but neither climate nor anatomy is accommodating. So I have a good collection of Chelsea Boots and Merrells. But realistically you've got to lace up. I began with a test of a few different brands of these devices. I found this brand the best of the rest. Once you learn how to size (the instructions are quite clear) and set the mechanisms they can be styled in a funky sort of way - and as a fashion guy - I only get inquiries and questions about where I got them - never a goofy sideays glance. I'm quickly going through my shoe collection, and with an expanded color palette you can conservative or fashion-forward. No more knot tying for me. I can't always create a perfect slip on but one learns how to set up the elastic and virtually inestructible laces to quickly slip in, tighten up and go. During the day, as feet swell you can loosen and then tighten, too. It is the 21st century I'm told - this is a contemporary answer to a 500+ year old problem.

I had a pair of Adidas X_PLR from a few years ago that had fast laces that came with them but for some reason they went back to traditional laces. I used the dress shoe variation because it had the navy and were solid without the white spots and they work and look excellent. Great thing about the adidas is the tongue hides the bulky Locklace button. I also like how the lock lace logo is the same color as the button on the dress shoe option. I will recommend these to everyone I know. Lock lace has a marker for these if they make them more sleek and modern with solid colors. The dress only work for my shoes because there are 3 holes to loop.

This is pretty nice solution for people that hate tying their laces ( me! )However, this is a little overpriced and I find a little annoying that this item is a couple of buck more expensive than the standard item just because this is supposed to be for dress shoes. Specially since they plaster their name in large letters in the other one which I find a little garish.This a great solution if you want an easy process or only have a couple of shoes to do. However, if you are into a little DIY or have many pairs you want to convert, I recommend just buying a large spool of this cord material. Just seach for bungee cord. they see all kinds of thicknesses but the one closest to this is 1/8" .

These were too hard for my dad who’s 89 and I couldn’t figure them out had to get a physical therapist to work them.

This has to be my 10th pair I’ve purchase because they are so great. These were advertised for dress shoes but I bought them for my sneakers. They are very comfortable and adjustable. They come with enough length that I’ve never come up short. You Cut them to the desired length or look. I prefer to put them on while doing this and then cap them off.

Finally! An alternative to tying and RETYING shoelaces that get loose. Finally, a lacing system that lets me slip into shoes without a shoehorn. Sneakers, work boots, dress shoes - I've got Lock Laces on all of them. I'll never go back to cloth laces.

They are easy to put on the shoes. The directions are on the package. They make the shoe more flexible and easier to get on and off. They wear well too. These pairs replaced prior pairs that were years and years old.

Truly does what it promises. Sturdy and solves the problem of tying laces all the time. Makes your shoes look stylish besides turning them into comfortable slip ons.

Clip broke at first use only. So entite product is of useless now. Atleast one additional clip shuld be provided or quality of clip should be improved. Leaces are of good quality.

My brown boots lace worn out, but the Clarks boots were in tact other than lace. Thought about buying a normal lace and accidently found this. At first i was in dual mind weather to spend 5 times than the normal lace. then thought will buy it anyway. Believe me this is the perfect solution guys, If your shoes are good enough to pend 500 on it. I think I will soon change the lace on my sneakers as well into Lock Laces. I used these laces in my brown brogues. Very good quality laces and makes easy to use on daily basis. Would order one more for my daily wear sports shoes.

product quality is good and very convenient to use but surely overpriced products.
