Whether you are an avid camper, hiker, or just someone who loves to explore the great outdoors, FRONTIERSMAN Bear Spray is a must-have for added peace of mind on your next adventure. The 7.9 oz spray combines maximum stopping power with a superior range of 30 feet, meaning you can deploy it from a safer distance to deter an aggressive bear. It travels up to 10 feet (3 m) farther than other bear sprays to put more distance between you and the attacking bear. FRONTIERSMAN Bear Spray is a quick-to-deploy bear defense spray made with the maximum strength allowed by the E.P.A. (2.0% major capsaicinoids - 50% stronger than SABRE's maximum strength police pepper spray). The 7.9 oz canister provides maximum protection by rapidly deploying a heavy fog of up to 1.58 oz (45 grams) per 1-second burst (up to 54% more than other brands) and creating a massive barrier of protection between you and the charging bear to maximize your safety. FRONTIERSMAN Bear Spray is available with holster options for the quickest access when seconds matter. When an 800 lb. bear is charging up to 50 feet (15 m) per second, every moment counts. Holsters keep your canister secure and immediately accessible without any cumbersome straps or velcro closures that can disturb the bear or cost you precious seconds as you try to access your spray. Explore confidently knowing you have the best bear safety products on the market with you from FRONTIERSMAN. From the makers of the #1 selling maximum strength bear spray, FRONTIERSMAN bear safety products include FRONTIERSMAN Bear Sprays, Inert Practice Spray, Bear Bells, and more. Yes, I have actually had to use this on a bear, and yes it works! You have to be careful not to let the spray blow back or get on your hands because it is an industrial strength kind of burning sensation, but then if the choice is get attacked by a bear or get some of this on your hands, then i'll take the burning!

It doesn't have a solid design and material
I bought this spray in 2018, Apr 3rd and I've been carrying along with me just in case and never had a chance to use it , thankfully. Last week when I was in a state park I wanted to test the spray and couldn't pull the protective plastic off. When I pulled harder, it broke....Then i picked it up and tray to put it back and all of a sudden the spray came all over my face.....I was in the middle of nowhere so there was nobody to ask help I tried to wash my face and it didn't work...Then an unbelievable palpitation came , my heart rate probably rushed to 200bpm or something I could hardly breath...I almost called 911 but then I though if I'm going to have a cardiac arrest 911 would not reach on time anyway... so I didn'tSo...it was obviously a faulty bottle.I contacted Amazon Help and they refused to give me any support at all , the customer representative said : "It's a 2018 order. We're not eligible to do anything in it....." (Exactly his words).A bear spray is not something you use every day or even week, you may require an assistance one year or two year after the purchase. Refusing customer help (and he did this in a very impudent manner) shows no professionalism at all.I already sent the whole chat as product review and Amazon refused to approve , all I was trying to do was show people what kind of feedback they may get from the seller. As a responsible consumer I just wanted to warn people, because it's a serious matter and I didn't something similar to happen to anybody else.I'm curious whether this review will be approved by Amazon or not ..**********SEC customer service contacted me and agreed to send me replacement bottle. Thank you.

Dont use it unless you have to.
I got this cause my neighbor has a dangerous dog that chases kids. The dog does not come near my house since I got him with the spray. I love animals and have a large bread dog myself that is super nice. So I felt bad using it but it was the most humane way I could think of keeping the dog away from my kid.

through an unfortunate series of events, I sprayed myself in the face with this and soaked my backpacking gear in it. Let me tell you- it works. It is oil based, so it does not wash off with water (milk sooths the immense and instantaneous pain). Bears, beware.

Bear Spray mace or Banatca for bears
#1. This stuff is week. All it's going to do is make the bear mad. #2. This stuff only shoots 10 feet maximum. So your going to have to be real close when u get him good and mad. Very, very disappointed with the performance of this product. I would be more concerned about my safety if I used it on a bear than I would if I tried to outrun it or played dead. I don't know what I would recommend this product for. But you'd have better results tossing taco bell's hot sauce packets at a bear.

Check the expiration date !!
Product arrived on time and with no damage the problem is the expiration date ! The product is a year old already with a 3 year shelf life ! And given what the product is used for it wouldn’t be a good day in the woods if the deterrent didn’t work !!

Very short expiration date on product I received. Not worth it!
Products I purchased from other vendors have significantly longer expiration dates, over 4 years on some cases. The one I received from this vendor was of only about 2.5 years. Not worth it. Look somewhere else.
