I bought a straight up and down pole, wish it slanted some, but works well, and as you know, I only use it at dark! Safe light, it's stored.

Fit my ‘93 boat
This was a nice replacement for the old perko light that came on my 1993 Princecraft. The old style glared really bad and illuminated the interior of boat which made it difficult to see at night. This new Perko light does not glare, but is still very bright and visible to other boats. Very happy with this upgrade.

We got this for our boat and it fits perfectly in the back where we got it for. And it's just bright enough, but not too blinding like the last light we had.

Be careful.
My rating here is not to say it was a poor product, but it does not work for me. The Perko pole I was replacing had a threaded end. The one I ordered had a push compression type connector. I went back to see if maybe I missed ordered it but could not find any thing in the specs or description that designated what type of connector it had. It does light up but does not seal around the base. And there is the possibility that it could work it self loose.

It’s not LED!
The description says it’s LED, but it’s not. It came with an incandescent bulb…which was loose in the fixture. I replaced with an LED bulb, but have seen how bright it is at night.The contacts on my original were corroded and as such it worked intermittently. This new one solved the problem. I’ve also added dielectric grease to the new one’s contacts to help preserve it.I would have given it 5 stars if not for the erroneous description.
