Dell Dock WD19 130W

It’s expensive but worth paying for to tidy up your desktop and run multiple screens ! Inc display port tech so with the HDMI can run 3 screens off this or two screens plus a laptop! I’m running it with a Dell 7480 which is a couple of years old but working just great !

Used to recreate work arrangements at home. Plug and play using other Dell products with no issues. And arrived I perfect condition when promised

I bought this to work with my XPS 13 laptops - a 9350 and a 9300. Plus I've also used it with a Dell Inspiron. I was lucky to have bought this with a good discount and have now had it for 18 months. I like the fact it has sockets for headphones and speakers. I also like the little lights on either side of the USB plug, which tells me it's providing power to my laptop. On the negative side, it has a very noisy fan that seems to come on every now and again for no reason. Fortunately, it usually switches off after a couple of minutes. I've updated it with the latest drivers, but that doesn't seem to have fixed the issue. Also, the USB C plug that plugs into my laptop came apart. I was able to superglue it back together, which seems to have fixed it.

This appears to be a well made accessory which is easily compatable with Dell laptops. Only has 3 USB ports which when mouse and keyboard are inserted leaves only one usb for other use. The Dell monitor also calls for a USB connection which would then use all the USB but does work without it the USB when connected via HDMI. Overall the product seems expensive for the function it does and very much cheaper versions are on the market. I assume you are paying for Dell reliability, but it is too early to say if that is true.

Effective docking station. Easy to install.

The product was very well package but the docker was faulty and did not work for 2 screens. Even the power button was not working and when I connected with the seller for refund they keep making excuses of that they are working with manufacturer to resolve the issue. I had to file an amazon claim, I have not yet got the refund nor an definite reply from seller on the refund.

The box was totally official from Dell. Properly packed and excellent presentation.

It is very easy to use, BUT, as all things Dell you are forced to buy really expensive peripherals if you want to actually fully utilise the laptop. 2 x USB C on the XPS means that you have to have a dock of you want to use it with a monitor(s); charge it and perhaps use a printer.

Very good product and useful

I use this with a Dell laptop and three monitors. When I first received this docking station, one monitor would randomly cut out after rebooting or from locked/sleep state about once a day. It was a usually a different monitor each time. I would have to disconnect and reconnect the monitor. Eventually, the Dell update utility presented a firmware update for the docking station. After that was installed, the instances of a monitor not coming out of sleep state has dropped to almost zero (maybe once a month).

Nulla da dire. Prodotto arrivato in ottime condizioni e puntuale nella consegna. Ben imballato. Funziona corrrettamente. Funzionale ed utilissimo per l'utilizzo che io ne faccio. L'ho comprato principalmente per il pulsante di accensione che mette a disposizione, che consente di accendere il notebook senza dover aprire/alzare il monitor. In questo modo uso il notebook solo come base con monitor e tastiera esterni. Per il resto funziona tutto benissimo per il momento (è circa un mese che l'ho acquistato) comprese le varie porte/interfacce.

Resulta que Dell cuando me compre el portatil INSPIRON 15 con INTEL I5 de 8 generacion y una placa RADEON de grafica me aconsejaba el D6000 como dock station. Pues resulta que esa dock era insuficiente por la potencia y me surgieron muchos problemas que al principio no relacione con la DOCK. Cuando tuve claro que el problema era la dock pude probar esta que según DELL no era compatible. Pues resulta que si es compatible. Y de hecho puedo afirmar que es compatible con cualquier portatil que tenga un USB tipo C 3.1. Si tu portátil permite la carga a través del USB tipo C esta dock es definitiva. La potencia es 180W es suficiente. la tension en mi caso es 19,5V y el amperaje 9,23A. Según la placa de características de mi portátil la tensión era de 19,5 V y 3.3A con lo cual iba sobrado con 130W. Pero resulta que luego vi que la placa es errónea ya que mi portátil consume en puntas de procesador y grafica y cuando se conecta una pantalla supera esa potencia. Al final compras esta dock que con 180W y que puede darte hasta 9 A. No se calienta como si se calentaba la D6000. Espero que me dure años y cuando cambie a otro portátil me siga sirviendo. Aconsejo al final esta dock que precio y potencia que te da, marca reconocida es de las mejores opciones del mercado.

Keine Probleme bei der Installation. Funktioniert wie sie soll. Man sollte sich die Dell Tools für Firmware Updates installieren und damit auf den neusten Stand bringen.
