It works fine.
It is what it says it is... DOCSIS 3.0 1200 MBPS max speeds. I only have 200 MB with TWC/Spectrum in TX, so it more than meets my needs. Setup was easy, call and said I dont want to spend $5 a month and here's my MAC address of the modem, bam done. Does require own wifi router, just a modem. Check with your ISP on product compatibility before purchasing any modem.

Great value for the money
The unit was very easy to set up and has been working flawlessly for the past month. I wish I had done this years ago to save money by not using the modem I rented from our internet provider.

Brand not as advertised, didn't work with my ISP
I bought this product to replace my old modem that bit the dust, and I was expecting the Cisco modem advertised that was on my ISP's list of supported modems. Instead I was sent a Techicolor brand modem that was not on the list, I did try to register the MAC id number with the cable company as I really needed a modem, but it ended up not working and I had to return it. Very dissapointing since it seemed like such a great deal.

Plug it in, get it provisioned, done.
This worked out very well with Comcast service. I just had to call them to provision it in their system. It came online after that and works very well in terms of speed and reliability. I pay for 250mbps down and that's what I get.I prefer this and using my own router than using one leased from Comcast.

the modem stopped being supported by Xfinity
I bought the modem in a rush and it was affordable. It was awesome while it was actively supported by Xfinity, but somehow Xfinity decided to not support it any longer, one year and a half after I bought it. You would be better off buying a popular brand or one preferred by Xfinity, so it can last longer.

stop paying comcast for rented garbarge; use this instead!
tossed my arris modem in the trash (return yours to Commiecast if rented) and my speeds rose nearly 25% instantly; + with a new Netgear R7000 (for wifi) with tomato software, now i can peak sometimes [rarely] at 90mbs, my "maximum theoretical speed" on the $50 per month tier I'm on from Comcast; typical speed is now avg. 70mps whereas before using ethernet-over-power was maxing at barely avg. 30mps. this definitely solved my xbox live gaming woes using a basic switch.

Price and signal!
For the price you cannot beat it! Works great and very happy.

solid cable modem
I'm getting solid connections with Spectrum now. No issues. Simple setup. Replaced a cheap chinese designed one. No complaints. No longer offered by the cable company.
