They worked well and the PC is running well. **Q: Can i use these to power my motherboard if psu doesnt have 8pin** A: Hi, I'm not sure whether you can use these to power a motherboard (you'll have to check with your motherboard manufacturer first). Please note though these are 8 pin connecters, not 6+2 pin as answered below. These don't split to be used either as 6 pin or 8 pin if that makes sense. Thanks **Q: Can I use these to power up the case fans? The fans says 12v and has a female molex connector?** A: No, unfortunately this is not the intended use of this cable. This power cable converts 2 female molex cables to one 8-pin PCIe cable. You can use your own PSUs molex MALE cables to power up your case fans, you do not need to buy this cable at all. **Q: are these safe to use to power an SSD and a fan contoller ?** A: These are designed for graphics cards. You use 2 mulex inputs to one graphics (pcie) output. In theory there is no reason why you can't drive other devices from these outputs, but the preferred way would be a supplier and use either a mulex (large white 4 pin connectors) splitter or sata splitter (black long thin connectors).
