Storkcraft Tuscany 4-in-1 Convertible Crib Black

I looked ALL over online for a sturdy, well rated, black, nice looking, reasonably priced crib... this is PERFECT!!!I was a bit worried about the color (blk), as online it looked more dark espresso- but in person it is true black.It went together pretty easy... after my hubby found the instructions on the top part of the crib mattress board (didn't see them at first). The crib feels very sturdy and we can't wait for our little girl to arrive to try it out :)My ONLY issue is the higher gloss finish- which picks up finger prints pretty well, but I'm a neat freak and I'm sure it wouldn't bother most people. Still looks great though (1yr later- never had an issue with the gloss finish. If there are smudges, they are not easily seen. Very happy.)Highly recommend for the price.UPDATE (1yr later): Still LOVE this crib- it's worked out perfect for our little girl. Held up great the past year- and I'm sure it will continue to hold up well and we can then convert to a toddler bed in a couple years. I'm very very happy with this purchase. NO ISSUES at all. I saw other reviews talk about the smell- but the crib we got didn't have any smell. It was packed perfectly and looked great and still does. Very sturdy and beautiful and I know many people who spent WAY more for cribs that were not as pretty as this one. Updated from 4 to 5 stars since we've had it for over a year now with no issues.

We bought this crib for Grandma's house and were excited to put it together. However, as we unwrapped the crib parts, a strong chemical smell filled the room. We opened the windows and turned on a fan. Hoping it would dissipate, we put the crib together and removed the packaging. Grandma called several days later saying the smell had not lessened. We took the crib apart to let it air out in the garage. After a week, the smell was still strong. I can't imagine putting our newborn in this crib where she can breathe in those fumes. This item is going back!

Looks great, and is holding up well so far in our RV that we summer in. Was pretty easy to put together as well. This crib has a solid wood base for the mattress, which makes it feel a sturdy, but is also a little less forgiving if you have a toddler that liked to jump on the bed. It has 3 levels of adjustment for the mattress height and have it at the lowest setting for my 2yr old. The picture probably has it at its medium setting, the lowest setting still has about a 4inch gap to the bottom bar. That is actually my only complaint, that it does not lower further. Something to note is that my crib came with 1 mis-drilled piece. While it did not prevent me from building it, one of the corners is very loose. While I have not received my replacement piece yet, it was VERY easy to order the part. You can do so from the manufacturers website and shipped in a day.

I hate that cribs these days don't have the sides that go down, and can't be as deep. My grandson was able to pull himself up and over at a young age. At almost 2, he's just 19 pounds. Theres a sticker on the side, crib side in, that won't come off. Other than that, I like the crib, the style and the color are just like the picture.

I gave this item 3 stars for the shipping. First delivery, item came damage. Looked as if someone tried to rip the box open exposing a huge piece of the item . I was so upset I issued for a replacement and somehow ended up receiving 2 more cribs, I took the best looking one from my UPS driver.. That being said both boxes were also damage but not clearly has bad as the first one..The crib itself is beautiful, sturdy, and definitely a 2 man job to assemble.. Found some minor scratches/dents, not sure if it was due to shipping but doesn't bother me as such. The price is awesome for a good quality crib like this one.. Just wasn't happy with the way Amazon/Stork Craft package their products.

Loved my purchase, as a new mom, I was hesitant to purchase something I didn't get to see/feel/physically test before buying, but all of the reviews for this product were so high and the price was too good to not go with it, and I wasn't wrong. It is a great, beautiful, solid crib that both me and my fiancée feel like we will be able to trust and rely on for many years for our future daughter. It got to us very quickly and was very easy to assemble, and I'm very pleased with it entirely.

So far this has been a great addition to our nursery! Easy to assemble and there were no defects or dings! For the cost of the crib I would recommend this! There is a "manufacturing" or "factory" smell! We bought this in time to have it set up for a while before baby comes and was able to let it "air" out! Other than that the crib looks great and is sturdy and I am confident my little one will be very happy with it for years to come! It does come with the toddler conversion but you will have to purchase the twin frame before converting into a twin bed! But that is easy!

I bought this crib for our now 6 month old and I am so happy with my purchase. It took about 15 minutes to put together with 2 people (one very pregnant person). It has stayed looking great for the first 6 months of use and I look forward to using it for a while to come with the toddler bed conversion. The finish is nice and it looks like a well made piece for much less than you would spend on something from a furniture store.
