Right Amount of Needed Clearance, Heavy But Sturdy
I needed a carrier for my 100 lb hunting e-Bike to mount on my lifted Jeep Cherokee and my stock Ford F150. On the Jeep, my challenge was two-fold; 1) a giant 35" off-road tire mounted above the receiver, and 2) the receiver is 30-1/2" off the ground (will the ramp be too short and steep?). I previously bought a similar all aluminum carrier with a 300 lb capacity but sent it back because it just didn't seem sturdy enough. This carrier is all steel; much heavier but also much stronger. I figure it's carrying capacity of 500 lbs should be plenty of overkill for my 100 lb bike bouncing up and down while I'm off-roading to my biking/hunting destination. Assembly was easy as it only requires four different sized sockets or wrenches. I didn't time it but it probably took over half an hour to put together? The ramp ended up being pretty steep but it was a lot easier when I gave the bike a little throttle to help out. Overall, easier than I expected. The F150's receiver is only 17-1/2" off the ground, so putting the rack on the F150 and getting the e-bike up the ramp will be much easier. Took it for a test drive and I was surprised how little it moved or bounced. You can see from the photos that there's just enough clearance between the spare tire and the bike and the pedal fits into the spare tire wheel with enough clearance, too. The only drawback is that to open the rear hatch, the entire bike carrier needs to be removed with requires loosening the four bolts on the hitch stabilizer. I'm really happy with this rack and know that if you have needs similar to mine you'll be happy with it, too.

Certain areas could use improvement, but overall a solid carrier for the price
I think Black Widow has done a great job at offering a reasonably priced motorcycle carrier that sits right between "super high quality that I can't afford" and "oh God oh God please don't let this thing break off on the freeway." It's the everyman's moto carrier. I purchased this after my aluminum Harbor Freight carrier broke while hauling my WR450F (about 280lbs wet) on a dirt road. (Needless to say, I don't recommend their product.) The Black Widow, by comparison, looks to be a major upgrade from that Harbor Freight junk -- I'm happy with a few extra pounds of steel weight if it means more dependability and stability. Upon opening the box, I noticed that it was packaged well and looked very nicely made. Solid welds and thick steel were nice too see, and the instructions were brief but adequate. Overall, I can tell this is a well-made carrier. Here are my only gripes: 1) Mine arrived without some of the necessary hardware. I had to drive to a nearby hardware store and purchase a few nuts and bolts. Not a huge issue, and Amazon quickly reimbursed me for the trouble after I emailed them. 2) The two tabs welded to the stinger that hold the ramp when not in use: they were welded kind of cockeyed/askew. I had to bend them into place in order for the ramp to fit properly. Hopefully I didn't stress the steel too much in doing so. Again, not a big deal and easily fixed. 3) Speaking of that ramp storage... It's kind of a joke. It's held on safely enough by a pin, so it's not flying off, but it's guaranteed to bounce & clank around constantly while I you're driving. I solved this with some adhesive felt pads placed strategically on the contact surfaces, and one bungee cord wrapped tightly around the whole assembly. Seems to have made things very secure & quiet, and no permanent modifications were needed. Overall, I think this is a strong, well-made motorcycle carrier for the money. Most people will be 100% satisfied right out of the box, so take my criticisms with a grain of salt. And, once I loaded it with my motorcycle, the whole thing felt secure and didn't budge. I totally recommend this product.

Great product
I loaded my KLR mostly on to it. Ramp fell off while loading so I had to lift the back up to get the tire on the rack. Drove from AZ to Southern Florida and this thing did not move for 1400+ miles. I has the four straps and then an additional one going into my truck bed. Dallas TX traffic sucks!!! I almost got hit a few times as the bike blocks my truck tail lights. Good thing I have a brake light on my topper. I stopped at a Walmart and got a tail light kit for $30 that had 3m self adhesive strip on the back. Got some zilp ties and secured the loose wires to the rack. Well worth the money. People seems to notice the lights instead of looking at the bike. I would also recommend getting some pipe insulation and put it on the straps where it touches the bike. I have a few new light rubs marks now.

Great motorcycle carrier
Sturdy construction. I recently used it on a 1,500 mile trip, and it road very well for the entire trip. I am also able to load and unload my 325lb bike by myself. No problem. This is and great product from Blast Widow.

this is the business if you want to transport a very big big horizontally on the back of your vehicle, made of heavey duty steel, very heavy to handle, but thats what you want

The product arrived without any damage and all necessary parts arrived in a sealed plastic bag. Assembly was straight forward the instruction were pretty good. The longer ramp (than some competitors) made loading my 84V e-bike (scooter) easier as the expanded battery case is slung lower.
