These were just what I needed for a project, good quality, I would have given it 5 stars but I did fine 8 or 10 with no threads

why aren't these more popular?
These things have so many uses! I got the idea when I had all of my legal documents in a binder that kept falling apart, then I remembered a photo album I bought from Hallmark that utilized something similar. The truth is, binders just can't stand up to the abuse when you have a ton of documents to hold. These little guys eliminate that problem. They're also more practical than binding because a.) they're cheaper and b.) you can add/remove pages no sweat. Plus this little box will last me a long time. One box of 100 is the equivalent of 33 and 1/3 three ring binders. When you consider the cost, that really helps put things into perspective, doesn't it?I also bought the extensions so that I can use them for multiple sized "books". I chose to use the 1/4 in. size screw posts because they have many more uses, especially when paired with 1/4 in. and 1/2 in. extensions. You can just build on them, kinda like Legos! So if you're thinking about buying some Chicago screws but can't decide on size, that is what I would recommend.I really don't know why these aren't more popular. I had to scour the earth (or just go to Amazon, I suppose) to find them.

Work together, but not with other posts.
They fit together just fine with each other, but they wouldn't screw into the screws or other posts that I have, so they're unusable for me.

Great for extending scrapbook album
Perfect for my scrapbook albums. Screw together pretty tight and they don’t move! Now I can make thicker albums!!

Good Post Extensions for Low Price.
Good extensions for Scrapbook Bindings. My wife created Scrapbooks for all our grandchildren and needed to expand some of them to hold all the pages. These 1/2" extensions made it easy to expand the books to hold more pages and the threads appear to be a good tight fit without needing to be glued or attached with "Thread Lock" to keep them attached.

Cheap: Don't Waste Your Money
These are thin gauge metal. with pressure they could bend. For heavy weighted projects these are not what you want. Also they came loose, as if someone had purchased them, torn open the package, returned them, & then they were sent to me
