This direct-battery cigarette lighter outlet is a fantastic backup option. It was simple, and it worked perfectly with no issues. I used to charge the tire inflatable pump and worked great. Pros:Good value for under $10Replaceable standard type automotive fuseQuality clampsCons:Light gauge wireI use this to run a small pure sine wave inverter which charges my laptop, flash light batteries, and other very light loads. Has worked good for the last 2 months. The clamps are really nice but the wire is thin. Not sure if the wire is pure copper or just aluminum clad copper but it does the job.

Real quality, nothing like cheap models I have seen in stores around me. Eyelets that are bolted to the nicest battery clamps I've ever seen. Just what I needed to connect small inverter to battery on solar setup.The battery clamps are worth the price ;) the accessory receptacle is top shelf quality
