Review: The best firm support - I have an old spinal injury from an atv accident. I have compressed disc and bulging disc along with sciatic nerve damage. **Q: What is difference between the McKenzie Lumbar Roll #700 and the Slimline Roll #705?  Thank you.**
A: I can see why you asked since the description doesn't really describe the difference.  From the pictures, I would say that the 700 (which is what I got) is fatter than the 705.  I find that the 700 works for me but if I had it to do over, I would get the 705.  That said, the 700 is fairly compressible so it is not uncomfortable. I usually use it in the car.

**Q: Can you use it in a car?**
A: If you already have a car with a lumbar type seat, this model will probably be too thick. I use mine in a deep chair and have a thinner type for car.

**Q: Do any of the MacKenzie have a buckle in the strap rather than just adjustable?**
A: no

**Q: I can't decide between the full or the half-moon roll style. Any thoughts?**
A: I bought mine for my neck while doing yoga. I never ended up using it. Then, I decided to use it as a lumbar support in the car. I have large Captian's Chairs in the Minivan and the belt was stretched to capacity. The elastic would have given way so I decided to purchase something entirely different.

3 1/2 stars is what I rate this thing, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them 4 I think I can give a good review on this thing since I have been using it 8 hours a day for the past year. I'm also 6'9'' and I have some minor back problems. With that being said... Its definitely better then not having it attached to my chair, I notice my back has improved. The versatility of being able to move it on any part of my back at will is definitely a plus. CON: The strap is for the birds. The buckle does nothing, it slides horizontally and wont stay firm. I had to tie the damn thing in a not to stay on my chair. Its noisy, there is a plastic inside that crinkles every time you move. The shape is lost now, its no longer a lumbar roll, its more of a lumbar blob. I know the con list is large but for the price, this is pretty decent. There are better back supports out there for less or even much better ones for slightly more, but if you catch this guy on sale, I would say go for it.
