I have a dedicated water proof camera as well as a dive cameras I use for all my in water activities and was looking for something to help protect my iPhone when I was at the beach, on a boat or by the pool and this pouch works. I had a friend who forgot he had his phone in his pocket and jumped into the pool. Say goodbye to a $500 phone so I didn't want this to happen to me. I use to use a zip lock baggie and this pouch works so much better. It will keep the sand, dirt and splashes of water off and keep your iPhone safe from any accidental water/dirt/sand penetration.
