Perfect drop in replacement on 2014 Tacoma. Easy install, literally three screws. Seems to move comparable amounts of air as the original motor without any additional noise. Also, this is a great time to pick up and install an $8 Bosch cabin air filter. My work truck had the original 2014 filter and replacing it dramatically increased the airflow . I will continue to be really happy with the blower motor as long as it continues to function as it is currently. I also recommend replacing the cabin air filter while you are down there.

If you have a 2012 Tacoma, don't waste your time and money on this! it is very close to fitting but it doesn't fit! This blower has screw bosses that are not present on the OEM blower which prevent it from seating correctly. I wound up opening and cleaning out the original blower motor assy. and reinstalling it until I can buy a new blower motor from a DIFFERENT store. It may fit other model year Tacomas but not the 2012

I liked it at first, especially for the price. However, I’ve had it for a year and it is on it’s way out. It made some noise initially which didn’t bother me. I figured for the price it was fine. However, over time it developed a loud cyclical whirring noise that wasn’t terrible but not very pleasant. Eventually the noise was just really loud and obnoxious and got too annoying for me to tolerate. It still blows but I couldn’t take it anymore. I ended up going to an auto parts store and bought one that came with a lifetime warranty. It was twice the price but I’d say it’s worth it. In summary you can buy this but know that it likely won’t last and the experience may not be the best. It’ll work if you are in a pinch with money or something but I recommend getting better quality.
