Great tie dye kit.
I am very impressed with this kit. The colour are rich and vibrant. There are instructions on how to tie various designs and patterns. The kit contains 8 bottles of different colours of dye. The powder is already in the bottles, you just need to add water. There are also an extra complete set of dye powders, rubber bands and gloves in the box. I have managed to get 4 pillowcase, 1 large kaftan, 3 T shirts and a polo shirt dyed without having to use the extra dyes. Instructions are included, but if you need extra advice, there are plenty of YouTube videos to assist you.

Super product
This is the Best value for money dye kit ever. Used with my class to make t shirts. Everyone in school wanted one. The colours are so bright and lots of different ideas enclosed that actually work.

Funky
Who doesn't like funky clothes, a little care is needed when using the dye but overall a super fun thing to do with the family, lots of dye so plenty of small projects can be done

Can’t stop tie dyeing now, love it!
I bought this kit as I had a top ruined by colour run I thought could be rescued by tie dye. It was, and I’ve dyed everything in sight too! This was my first time tie dyeing anything, at the grand age of 38.I used clear plastic bin bags as a work surface and to tie the designs into to set overnight, which kept things mess free. The bottles were prone to splashing a little when you pull the cap off but after the first time I was more careful.I used the dye as described, mixed with water in the bottles, and watered down for lighter shades. I also played around with ice and snow dyeing with the refill powders and love the results. The instructions were not that useful, beyond showing a couple of ties. I needed to look online to see how best to apply dye for different patterns. I also learned way more about folding techniques and alternative dyeing techniques with a Google search. To wash, I rinsed items in warm water as best I could then ran through a quick wash in the machine at 30° on their own. Some I ran through more than once to be on the safe side. I used mostly cotton but experimented with other fabrics - I think people complaining about the dye not holding may not have used cotton, as it does affect different fabrics differently. Even different weights of cotton took the dye differently.I’ve ended up refreshing a lot of old white tshirts that had yellowed, and with some bright beachwear made with new items. Some things I dyed because I get white grubby in minutes so never wore them, and others were too see through so dyeing them made them more wearable.I’m amazed at the variety of colour schemes, depth of colour and patterns achieved. I’ve even used one technique on a shirt, washed and dried it, then retreated it with another technique. Some things are classic hippy, some are 90s grunge, and some are much more modern like the ice dye in the shops right now.My only criticisms would be that I’d love to buy refill sachets on their own, and that the instructions are very limited. As long as you use 100% cotton and do a little reading first though you shouldn’t be disappointed.

Great value
I bought 2 of these kits so I could do some clothes with my sisters kids and my sister-in-law's kids. I didn't realise there was extra dye in them, so I now have more than I could ever want! Simple to use (just add water to the bottles) and loads of dye. With one incomplete lot of dye (we didn't use every colour) we did 4 kids tshirts and and 3 large adult tshirts. My only criticism would be that some of the diagrams of the folds weren't the clearest, but they were good enough that we worked a few out and were pleased with the results. Plus there's an abundance of videos online showing other patterns so you don't need to rely on the instruction sheet. The colours did fade a bit at first, and they aren't as vibrant as the shop bought tie-dye I have, but I wear mine constantly and they still look great. They're just more pastel shades now, but they don't seem to be fading any more.**Edit**Decided to update this because I recently visited my sister and saw my nieces t-shirt that we did at the same time as mine. My sister hand washes theirs, and they still look really vibrant. So if like me you want to be lazy and just throw them in the machine then expect fading, if you want to look after them and hand wash them the colours will stay much brighter.

Great set to try out Tie dye
Great set, lots of colour options.Easy to mix ( fill with water and shake up). Pretty simple to use with some brief info on patterns , but I found lots online. The dye says you have 72 hours after mixing it, which is longer than other brands that say 48hrs…The gloves provided are ok, but be aware they might split and you you might end up with coloured hands… but not the end of the world! You might also want get get some extra rubber bands…. I had 5 pairs of socks and used a good amount of them, keep in mind I had half bottles left of dye, so would of needed more bands if I had kept going. Some of the colours are more vibrant than others , but for a first go, this set is fab.I have bought another set to give a go with the scout Beavers I volunteer as a leader with. Should be fun! But in an outside area .
